White People Food (Need Suggestions)
My wife and I are invited to a party. Mostly Filipinos.
They asked us to bring "White People Food" WTF should I bring? |
mayo steaks corn on the cob.

My thoughts are as a few others have said- BBQ & Mac N Cheese.
I guess that's kind of black people food too, but its what I think of when I think of things that would be uniquely north american. |
1-potato salad, you cant have too much.
2-any sausage with a german name, the wider variety, the better. 3-donuts (you know ALL white people LOVE these things) at least four dozen if you're doing a decent party, and DON'T SKIMP ON THE HOLES!!! 4-and this is really the creme de resistance, the keystone of the whole thing and I cannot stress enough... BACON. dude, you know you love it, whitey. I myself was sitting here, content and happy in my life until the thought of bacon and the stark reality that i possess none came crashing into my brain like a rabid wombat. if you really want to show these people good ol honkey food, give them bacon. give them bacon. |

The response is is mindblowing. I'm thinkin about baddogs cuz that's way cool on the budget. But the Poindexterity post got me thinkin. Let's go big with BACON. God I love bacon!! |

Sloppy joe (or that kind of BBQ meat sandwich stuff), macaroni salad, coleslaw and some sort of Jello mold (yuck) were always high on my mom's list of stuff to bring to outdoor parties. Oh, and devilled eggs..us white people love those.
