How to get google.com to show instead of the localized google.COUNTRYEXT ....
without going through a US proxy?
Stupid question maybe but is there a way to show google.com and not google.de or google.com.mx and so on when you are abroad? |

if you are using firefox you have option "Start Private Browsing" that will do the trick..

When I was in Mexico I remember selecting a link under the search form that allows you to set it so you see the main page. I just can't remember specifically what it said.

I just click the link that says "Go To Google.com" when google.ca comes up.
I've set google.com as my homepage on all the browsers I use and only get a problem with Chrome. |

i am using google toolbar and set into google.com USA and then i search directly to google toolbar

Add and &gl=us to the back of the URL. I know this then shows google adwords from the US.
