How to get google.com to show instead of the localized google.COUNTRYEXT ....
 

without going through a US proxy?

Stupid question maybe but is there a way to show google.com and not google.de or google.com.mx and so on when you are abroad?

if you are using firefox you have option "Start Private Browsing" that will do the trick..

When I was in Mexico I remember selecting a link under the search form that allows you to set it so you see the main page. I just can't remember specifically what it said.

I just click the link that says "Go To Google.com" when google.ca comes up.

I've set google.com as my homepage on all the browsers I use and only get a problem with Chrome.

i am using google toolbar and set into google.com USA and then i search directly to google toolbar

Add and &gl=us to the back of the URL. I know this then shows google adwords from the US.
