lolz, please. i hired a sales guy who did the exact same thing for a large muti-brand auto sales chain- take their cars and put them on the internet, back in the early 2000s. a bunch of pics, a nice text descriptor, shipping costs, and a phone #- what a GENIUS! i had to teach him everything re: how to sell. |

Ill come back in 2020 and say I found a way tubes make money. You had a great idea, 10 years too late. Move on, like I said, you are too simple and apparently a liar as well. Ooh Ive never shipped a car in my life. You missed the whole point of Internet sales in the early 90's...I suppose you were too busy fitting your high end clothing clients to understand it. |

just a quick google-
Sales of new cars over the Internet, though stalled at $2.1 billion in 1999, accelerated to $27.3 billion by 2004. i'll stand-by for you to call me a name or 2 for this post. |

Now you are just annoying me and apparently you got slapped a little too hard when you cant even make up anymore lies about your car business past because, well, you dont have one. Game over man. It was fun while you lasted. Now get back to making websites and leave the brick and mortor business to well, the businessmen. |

Now go sell a harddrive on eBay or something so you can say you have a clue about internet sales... |

wow, you can't read either, i said i HIRED a fella that did that, i've never sold cars. i guess it makes sense though, you waxed right over all the stories of peeps getting treated like shit by car salespeople before, i shouldn't expect you to be able to read my comment properly either. |

I've seen them flat out lie to people, tell them anything they want to hear to make a sale. The dealership I was at would add an addendum to the MSRP that was around $1500 - $2500 more than sticker price. for what, pin stripes, vin etching into the windows, to wash it after you buy it, some clear coat protectant. Lots of bull shit. They told me all that crap cost them like $80. And the negotiating was so lame... this is the best I can do, wow you getting such a great deal (being charged $2,000 over MSRP)... let me go see what I can do, maybe I can get $200 more off or some free floor mats... :( Wasn't my style. I purposely caved with people and most of my sales were only 3-5% over invoice. I couldn't take the sales meetings that were basically, how can we screw people today sessions. Ok we have an ad in the paper for this car, we only have one. When they come in it will be sold, this is the one I want you to pitch them on, etc etc.... |

Ad cars will always be around. Its the cheapest way to get people thro the door and people arent stupid. They know its 1 car on the lot and feel they can get a sick deal walkin in the door with the ad, feeling they will buy the better model for a steal because of the ad. Its usually win win in that situation, so dealers continue with it. No real harm. |

I'd rather hang out with well dressed bums with some style, than a bunch of geek millionaires who have to pay whores to hang out with them. You'll get more tail with a futon on the floor and an '86 Chevette with some style and character without paying than some millionaire geek who dresses like he's in grade 9. Just re-read the thread and look at how the butthurtness sticks out above the rest. You dressed like shit and got dissed for it, and you're so insecure that you post on GFY about it. |
