First of all, I as developer of Trade Pulse together with my coding partners would like to say that we are very glad that JMBSOFT liked so much our script that they copied majority of it! Thnx guys we are really honored since that is one more proof we are always 2 steps infront from other scripts!

Now to show off some original methods we used(inventions of my partner also from proton and progress tm scripts) and how JMBSOFT did it their way:

Well not only is this quite interesting I knew they had dirty hands -- but the most likely reason for this is they had to design something that they could sell to all the POOR tube site operators that were hoping to make millions - their discount version of your script will no doubt be showing up on a tube site near you daily for a while at least till they figure out the backend is coded like a nightmare from hell like all their other scripts have been!

I havent used Trade Pulse, but I do have many years experience with Jeremys scripts, and they are good. I will buy TradeX mainly coz I like to support a guy who always and always keep answering to newbie questions about his products and do his best to help out + it seems to be a good script and can handle many processes.

We are not friends just for the record I dont even know OP by name to tell you the truth the only thing we ever discuss is operation of the TP script , bugs , fixes and updates etc. I dont know what you call a friend but for me to be someones friend I need to know something about them so no hes not my "friend"
They build a reliable product that should not be stolen - is my reason for defending their name.

In my experiences with JMB I have been provided smart ass technical support, and scripts that were less than reliable in many cases and now I see them stealing which leaves an even worse opinion of the company in my mind.

Actually I looked how features are implemented, and only those of you who actually have skills with trade scripts and grown decent sites will know what I speak about.

So for example skim schemes can be done in MANY ways, but if someone exactly copies first X clicks, and after that cycled clicks what was our invention how to handle it then yes it is a copy. If all scripts have 1 outlist and ours has 3 outlists(1 main + 2 bonus) then it's not design copy, it's copy of how script is coded/how it works.

If we invented traffic quality feature and if we use specified way to sort countries into quality groups and they use exact same way then yes, it is a copy...

I don't care if they copied FUNCTION, I care if they copied how FUNCTION works ;).

But hey again, I am proud that our script is copied, it just shows how much in front of others we actually are.

Nothing personal but it sounds like you have no clue what was copied exactly.
It's not always only about the look and feel but more importantly features and algo's.
Btw, TP is an excellent script that is hard to beat, i can tell you that i have used ANY script out there and even helped develop a hugely popular trade script.

OK since this thread is way to long to read, shouldnt choker own all with his age old trade script that used skim? shouldnt you then say yours with stats and all the shit he had be in debt to him? Scripts are ideas if you patent it then its yours otherwise walk away now.

I've used just about every trade script out there and while they do look similar in design "all" trade scripts end up with the same "functions" in the end. Same with TGP & Tube scripts, they all copy each other.

It's what happens in this biz and every other unless you have a patent on the concept. Someone comes out with an idea then, others take the idea and add in their own.

Someone built the first trade script that everyone else copied. Your script has ideas and functions that come from other scripts. Your script would have never been possible with out the ideas that others had in the past.

Unless they copied your code or unless you own the patent for your functions then there isn't anything you can say about someone else using your ideas.

Not really because there is difference if you use feature idea or you copy how feature works. For example if you copy exact car model or you simply use idea behind car to drive passengers.

Well, I didn't mean it as you can't actually say something.. lol I'm just saying it won't do anything other than let you vent your views.

The point I was getting at, is it's all part of the game. If you have a good idea that works, unless you have some way to protect that idea legally then everyone else is going to copy that idea.

Best you can do is keep improving on your ideas. Even though it's not open source, thats still the way the script biz works because everyone takes everyone elses ideas and adds them to their own scripts.
