I guess there must be a point to your post. I am quiet familiar with Blackwater and watched the congressional hearing investigating Blackwater and the hearing...just as the "trial" of the 5 employees ended in failure to come up with any legitimate charges against Blackwater.

My point should be pretty clear. He could send a lot of important people down the river so to keep that from happening I'm quite sure there's a lot of "failures" that would occur in any prosecution. Considering he spilled his guts to a journalist/CIA defense attorney I would say he took out a bit of an insurance policy by doing so and there's likely a lot of "off the record" details which said attorney/journalist has.

It's kinda funny watching wingnuts crow about mercenaries getting off on a technicality, while the apearance of a fake and intentionally fumbled corrupt trial further alienates the iraqis and makes the war even more pointless and ridiculous.

Your assumptions are amusing. The last I knew...it is only courts that can send ayone "down the river" and only after a trial where evidence is presented and a jury is convinced by the evidence that a defendant is guilty beyond any reasonable doubt.

If the person getting contracted and in charge of hiring out said illegal contracts began to talk and presenting evidence wouldn't you think that would make a pretty damn good case? I think the term is "singing like a canary" So what you have here is the guy holding all the cards more or less doing "some" singing to warn those who might want to use him as their scapegoat. Bingo. Real life is not Hollywood and authorities just don't see justice the way we do or the way we think they do.

Did you ever consider in your "experience" that because some people believe they are above the law might be the REAL problem? Here is leaked video of a different security firm shooting at civilian cars. They have submitted copyright claims to YouTube to have these videos removed.

If this was caught on film and leaked, then just imagine how widespread this behavior and much worse must be.
