I always give my mail lady a gift basket of some kind. The one I got this year has some candles in it, some fruit and candy a Starbucks gift card. I live in a very little town and have had the same deliver driver since I have lived her. Anytime I have a package or anything that won't fit in the box she always brings it up to the house along with my mail so I won't have to go down to the post office to get it. I have also had letters that have had my address all fucked up on them and they always get them to me. I appreciate it and I can bet the $45 or so I spend on the gift basket each year is something that she doesn't forget.

I'm new to this one horse town so I wonder if they're scanning my shit with all of the checks coming in from all over the US and Canada. Maybe next year but surely not this year.

And tipping the trash men? I pay them to pickup my trash now, why the hell would I tip them? They just broke one of my trashcans too so fuck them.

I pay them too but think about it this way, they get $8-$10(around here anyways) an hour to pick up your shit, sometimes literally and they even do it with a smile in most cases. Would you do the same? Hell no! I would be puking.

Every time you empty the litter box, throw out something that fell behind the shelf in the fridge and or dump shitty diapers in the trash, they have to pick it up, even when the bag breaks! And if you tip them maybe they won't "miss" that diaper that strayed to far out of their reach when the bag broke.
