Is it just me, or does CS for epass suck?

Other than contacting Michael O, has anyone ever gotten any actual help through customer service from epassporte? Ive tried sending emails and calling and gotten no where at all. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get in touch with MichaelO today either (how dare he have a life off the computer!) Not a life or death situation, but quite annoying none the less.

I've heard he's the best to contact for sure. I think Epass might be losing business due to lack of CS. I remember emailing once (a while ago, so it's not important anymore) and never getting an answer. I think I figured it out myself.

Anyway a ticket system would be a good option to be honest.

I called. Got some non-english speakin guy who was obviously reading from a script. Loads of help.

Short summary: Two 'pending' charges at gas stations, yet the actual charges have already cleared. (so 4 charges total for 2 transactions) Guy told me I can go to each place of business and have then write out -on company letterhead- that the charges are no longer pending and they do not require the hold on the card any longer, and epass will clear the charges once they receive the official letters. Yah right, im going to drive 6 hours to find these gas stations? ( i was out of town when i used the card)

Was just reading about someone else that had an issue using epass at a gas station. They put a $50 hold or something per transaction.

From what I have read, not really the right card to use in that situation.

its a public secret that every transaction in a gasoline station takes first 150 of your account. Was all over the newspapers here in holland, 150 euro that is.

I made the same mistake a couple months ago. I read in their FAQ that it should clear in 7 to 10 business days but could be up to 30 days. The $50 cleared exactly one month after the initial charge, which was my deadline before I was going to contact them.
