I actually own an original print of this image, signed by the photographer Alberto Korda Diaz. If the house was burning down, I would grab this as I ran out the door.

Most pics bring back memories about the events we all saw on TV or read about in papers.
Some shocking, some sad, some wonderfull, some beautifull.
The one with the starving kid and the vulture is the most grabbing one and it shows us nature is very real and could be cruel.

I don't see how you are quick to say she "looks 70", it's always hard to define what a certain age "looks" anyways, but to me she could look 25 just as much as she looks 35 45 or 55, and to say "shame" about her looks is another strange one, she doesn't look hideous in any way

That is deeply disturbing and I'd never seen it before. Living right around NYC in a decently off area I knew around 20 people that died that day. That easily could have been my friend's dad.
