I do anything a man can, but my hubby and I both step up to do what's needed when it's needed. I move furniture, fix things, fix cars, do the dirty work, and he can help me cook, clean, or look after the kids. We both work full time so we support each other to do that, but if I was on my own I could do it too. It's just NICE to not have to ;)

The only reason why I post in here and write all this is that it is important for us women to liberate ourselves and embrace the "I can do it myself" attitude. Not to be difficult, but to be self sufficient and self reliant. For those that have kids or are planning on having kids, the best thing to be able to pass on to them is "You can do anything you set your mind to" but you have to lead by example first.

Me, on the other hand.... I do the dishes on a daily basis ( dishwasher is clean but needs to be emptied ) and I do the laundry as needed.

...one of the things I always HATED about my stepfather was how he actually enjoyed all these house works and was suddenly becoming WAY more annoying with it than any female in the household.

So, whenever a female that i would deeply love and respect and care about dearly ever would want to ask me for something like this:

- I don't want to be seen doing that
- I don't want to admit I did that
- even it will be extremely obvious that it was ME who did these nasty things, I'll be in complete denial, so don't ever let anyone try to bring this up

If you want to watch me chopping lumber, sweating beast chopping lumber, yeah come on invite your friends, that's ok, but NEVER, never any of those... things.
