My thoughts on why this guy ain't the sniper - GoFuckYourself.com

I do not believe the guy they caught is the actual sniper or at least not the 'lone gunman'. I want to see what the police have to say about all the past stuff now about the white van, an olive colored skinned man -- i bet they just ignore it. "Forget all that other stuff, we got our man!"

The police needed an arrest and a scapegoat more than anything right now. Arresting these guys today put a lot of people at ease
Perception of safety is what drives law enforcement. We could overthrow over the police at any time. That's why Bush has 2 go 2 war with Iraq cause we couldn't get Bin Laden and there's no 'closure' on our safety there, he needed a diversion. The perception of safety says Bush, law enforcement, etc. have it under control. But if everyone went crazy at 8:00pm tonight, we could bring the whole country down before midnight. And the trial is of no use for these guys. CNN has already executed them. Their faces are plastered worldwide. Say they're not gulity (i.e. Richard Jewell in Olympics bombing), it doesn't matter because they're lives are ruined.

Oh well, enough ranting for me....gotta go watch Arlington Rd. and Conspiracy Theory!

I heard this same theory on the radio this morning. Neal Boortz said that expected a "Timothy McVey" type of person and was quite surprised to see the pics of the sniper suspect...

I'm not saying he definitely is not the one, but it seems quite hard for me to believe your average liquor store robber could get away from FBI 12 or more times driving a '91 bucket. I'm not surprised at all. a) The police engage in disinformation all the time. The information they give out is the information they want the CRIMINAL to know, not what they want us to know. b) All that other information came from eye witness observation which is notoriously bad (circumstantial evidence usually actually proves more reliable). c) Just because a very common vehicle was seen around one or more of the incidents, it doesn't follow with any degree of necessity that this is anything more than coincidence. d) It's absurd to think that the police arrested these two merely to appear to have done something. This would be fruitless, because if these guys don't account for "the sniper," he can prove he still exists by shooting some more people.

What if it's a group of people? That's like saying all the terrorists in America died on those planes since nothing else big has happened since 9/11. Couldn't the rest of the group have seen the news this morning and decided to chill for awhile and regroup?

If this guy wasn't the shooter, the real shooter has two options: 1) continue killing to drive the country absolutely crazy, or 2) stop killing and walk away free.

shooting straight is just one aspect of being a sniper, if you seen fox news then you'd know where i was comming from

Does anyone else find it interesting/intruiging that someone called in a tip on the line set up for only the sniper to call in on? And the message "We have caught the sniper like a duck in a noose.".. ? Makes me think that was a coded message to someone.

Would it be totally crazy if an Al Qaeda cell had multiple sets of snipers - they turn in the first group, pass coded messages and have the subsequent group start up? And when they get caught, a third group, etc?

Conspiracy theory for sure but shit, we ain't talking about the US Gov - we're talking Al Qaeda..

They may have caught the guys who've been doing the shooting but somehow I don't think this is over. :-/

i had my doubts at first, but this guy is fucked. either way, he killed the guy in montgomery alabama. and the white truck is a stupid thing that just started and after that, everyone saw a fucking white truck. i don't now much about guns, but this military guy was talking yesterday how the bullet reaches supersonic speed, so it makes two "gunshot" sounds. he said average people that don't now about it look towards the second sound, then immediately at the victum. and whoever said eye witness testimony is unreliable is right. i took a psy class on it. we held all sorts of experiments, having people be a 'target' and it was crazy how few details were remembered. i wonder how much the kid was really involved. all they're saying now is that he was brainwashed.

You're right about the gunshot sounds, I completely forgot about that. They also echo, which can really throw you off.

Also about the psych class, I took the same course. Eye witnesses are extremely suggestive. Which is why I think the van theory is moot.

Considering that the police have just now stated that the gun found in the trunk is a ballistic match to the bullets found in the victims, I think it's safe to say that these fuckers are the snipers. I live in Maryland and finally I can get gas without worrying about being fucking killed again.
