Same with "the news." You can report the facts and still lie, in much the same way as the hypothetical camera man, if you report some facts while studiously ignoring others.

That said, I wish my examples were more than hypothetical. As Colin has pointed out, polls of the citizenry in middle eastern nations consistently show overwhelming support for terrorism.

And big deal, I never said reporting wasn't biased, my point is that news is news. It isn't better or more reliable in Europe than it is in the USA or Canada. Why? Because, as I said already, reporters whose work is found to be consistently biased and slanted are simply regarded as big jokes after a while, not to be taken seriously.
