so one thing that seems to be coming out of your experiment is that nowadays the average conversion rate of "unique traffic to site" vs. "paysite membership sale" for quality search engine blog generic porn term traffic is somewhere around 1:30000? am I close in this calculation (hard to extrapolate exactly from what you have given but this is a calculated estimate from what you have said... correct me if I am off)

No. 1.30,000? woha man. I had 3 sales on 12k, that's 1:4000. Don't know what you got the 1:30,000 figure from?

ok, I stand corrected, for some reason I thought you said you had 1 total sale and was assuming that was over a few months at least of your 12k a month traffic figure, I guess I should have read back instead of relying on memory and perhaps mixing this up with something else, I apologize for extrapolating incorrectly

looking back now, I see you mentioned that in july you had 3 paysite sales and 12k traffic, no need to be shy about may june aug or sept, is the average still holding up or...?

Not a bad begining but 12K a month in hits is basically pennies. Some tweaks would put those sites to 120K a month and that would equal a few bucks...

You could easily double those stats if you did what I suggested earlier in this topic. Add a free trade script and put toplists on your blogs. Trade among your own sites and maybe a few out side sources.

Build a few toplist sites to add to the mix to drive traffic to your blogs.

Those tweaks would = updates :upsidedow

In Aug traffic dropped slightly to just above 10k. Not so strange since updates = 0 :/

Only 1 paysite sale rendering in $50 too. Also 1 rebill.

Basically May and June are hard to talk that much about since they went live just before middle of June.

Sept so far 5900 uniques. So traffic is about the same, which is not so strange since it won't grow without updates. 1 rebill sale in Sept but no new sale so far.

I agree on you about he first sentences, but strongly disagree with no allies or friends in this biz. I could be nowhere without a little help from my friends and I always trying to give back as much as I can or help other ppl with what I can (or what they need). Every single week I find good and helpful webmasters who I love to work together with. If you think about fellow adult webmasters as competition it's very hard to reach your goals. If you find the Good People and you help each other it can make miracles!

Hey, I've launched 10 blogs two weeks ago. See my sig...only small traffic from google...will something happen or it will stay like this?

So can we say that this project is a FAIL ?

I dont know about "we" but you can say so if you want :) Ofcourse I can't say I have done with the project really what I wanted but it is still a project that will be worked more on, so since I am not selling it or whatever and It's paying for it self just sitting there I can't really consider it FAIL.

Traffic will keep growing if you update frequently with original content and keep trading links with other updated sites in your niche.

To me having so many irons in the fire already it maybe would have been better if I made this project with 1 blog instead, but now It's 10 so i'll have to live with it ^^

Actually got my finger out and been updating a bit, not the biggest individual updates I know, most around 70-100 words each but It's making traffic grow. Cleaning up the linkex for them right now actually. Lots of shit trades people have added. Cleaned 4 of 10.

No, 15,500 so far for November so will probably land ~17-18k this month. I am seeing pretty decent traffic increases with the updates so December will be much more interesting.

Keep updating then, so we can see the real power of a blog network :)

10 blogs is a small network but as I hoped in some time it will be getting decent SE traffic, i have other blogs that are older that get nice SE traffic so I know It's possible.

check your "Trade links" link in the footer of your blogs, its "/linkex/" and it results as a 404 link in the posts. :)

I had a similar project of 7 blogs couple of years ago.

I was ambitious for the first few months, then kinda forgot about the network.

By that time the blog network already had a decent amount of content, then something happened. I guess someone submitted some posts from the network to social sites (yes, it was an adult network) and the traffic spiked. At that same time Google had a PR update and gave my blogs decent PR, multiplying the SE traffic. Eventually I got a sweet deal selling that network.

Too bad I can't concentrate too long on a single thing -- especially if it's as big as a blog network.

Hey Daniel. Where do you get incoming links from? Or is it recip links only?

I got one blog fed a high quality organic diet six times daily. Traffic is insane from Google and converts.

This project is 10 blogs yes. Have you looked at the blogs? They are "new" so to speak and no It's not 15k daily, if it would have been I'd be having a lot more blogs with only 10 posts on LOL

Income is of course low so far, clicks to sponsors have taken off much better now that I have started updated the blogs daily so we will have to see soon.

Most are recip links, some incoming are from non-recip directories and a couple of my other more established blogs (not many links from there though)

yep, many ways to go about it. I have other blogs getting more than 1 update per day too but no 6 updates per day, but if you have a high traffic blog with good potential SE keywords why not put some steam into it :thumbsup

would it be safe to say that income from paysite sales is actually zero per month?

Haven't calculated it this month but last month it was 1 $50 PPS and 1 $35 dating PPS if I am not misstaken. That's = no money yes I know. I am hoping for more $ return on this project now that I am updating more. I've been bizzy with many other things making me more money so that's why this project has been on ice, smaller updates are coming in steady now though.
