As a celeb it may be true he is trying to keep his name in the papers. In general though, I think a fair percentage of suicide attempts need to be taken seriously. I agree that if someone really wants to die, they can achieve it in single go. My best friend has the Bipolar Syndrome and wanted to suicide 2 weeks ago, but did not have the guts to do it, and admitted it... otherwise he would have done it. It's a cry for HELP and support.

Anyway, the Bipolar Syndrome is the most important thing to consider in this case (Steve-O). When you don't threat yourself (and many refuse or hate the medication because they lose their phenomenal natural "UP"... even if they have to deal with their "DOWN"... they don't like the standard life which seems boring and unnatural to them). Add the alcool to that and the depression is accelerated and 2x more important.

Add cocaine. Ouch!
Add easy money. Ouch! (bipolar people have problems dealing with money)
Add fake respect. Ouch!

Enough said.
