this week has been excellent until the 30th. We were on track to smash last weeks record which itself smashed the previous record by 30%. But for the 30th our sales are 1/3rd of what we have had the rest of the week. Possibly a statistical correction sure but this is our worst day in well over a month. That being said we only have the 1 decline email so far, so scrubbing would seem doubtful as a cause. still on track for a great week and month though. Thats the most important stat

This isn't like that time... My EPOCH sales are through the roof. My CCBILL sales are through the floor and almost non-existant. Sponsors who use both companies and send out emails telling you what you sold and how you sold it tell me I made the sales via EPOCH even when they were the secondary processor in the cascade. That tells me CCBILL is scrubbing hard.
Yes, I know they make money on sales and not scrubbing. So why is this happening? Don't tell me that (not you specifically, Seven), tell CCBILL this factual info!Comment

All of my CCBill sponsors are way down this month overall. Especially the past two weeks. Maybe its not a scrubing problem, Maybe they have deeper issues.
I used to search out good CCBill sponsors and use them over the others. Now I am searching for good sponsors that don't use just CCBill.

We alternate between ccbill & epoch and neither one is doing better than the other. Our total # of sales are down cause haven't worked on the promo at all in last few months but mind that's the total number not ratio, ratio's same as before and ratio is also the same on both epoch & ccbill. I've completely ignored sites that only use ccbill for awhile now. It sucks because there are usually quality amateur sites, the type I like to promote, but I just can't handle the crazy ccbill ratios.
I've been in the biz a few years now, and I don't think i've *ever* seen a site convert better than 1:200 on a consistent basis just using ccbill. I've tested it with tgp, link site, organic SE, and PPC SE traffic. (obviously not a mixed batch to one site, that would screw up the testing.)Comment

There are so many factors that come into play regarding sales and it becomes so easy to blame lower sales on scrubbing. There are however a lot of factors that you have to take into account. Nicer weather means people spend more time outside. Many webmasters get lower sales in the spring/summer than they do in the fall and winter. You have to remember that March is Spring Break month with students from all over the world spending every dime they have going someplace hot. That means they have less money to spend on porn and their credit cards are probably maxed. That means less sales for some webmasters. Families take off for spring break too, so that would have an effect too.
Sporting events, holidays, vacation times, weather, time of the month (some people are broke that last week of every month trying to get their mortgage/rent payment together), how many other webmasters are promoting the same thing you are (things can get over saturated) can all show up in your sales. I am not saying billing companies do not scrub, I'm just saying you can't blame ever fluctuation in sales on the billing companies.
Having said that, it is April 1st so I had to do Monster Partners March numbers. Sales were up over 70% compared to February, if CCBill is scrubbing hard then it certainly is not showing up in our sales
