I'll start so you can see what I mean. Here's a Doctor, a well respected one, that ran a study and feels that THC does NOT cause permanent brain damage.

The bulk of my knowledge really only lies in the information I have come across by happenstance. In many years though, most things i've read have always come to the same conclusion: There appears to be no meaningful or lasting side effects of smoking Marijuana.

exactly. one would think that given the substance has been used medicinally, spiritually and recreationally for thousands of years evidence of damaging effects would surface. i'd venture to say the only addictive potential - psychological addiction - isn't that credible. as noted in this thread, it's the feeling of the high one gets addicted to. those who get addicted to the high most likely have an addictive personality, and would get addicted to a plethora of things. meaning it's the user, not the cannabis. having smoked for 5+ years frequently, i can't say i've ever felt any psychological addiction even when taking long breaks. i'm sure many others would say the same.

it's habit forming if anything, which is far far from addiction.

I have seen far too many people watching cofee machines to be yet able to imagine any social aspect of smoking weed, and I would dare to say weed kills every party where it's mass consumed as I noticed.

yes, or i wouldn't smoke it. for me it greatly enhances music appreciation and the experience of music. as a result, listening to and producing music while high is damn fun and totally immersing. the same goes for movies, in fact any art. hiking also, it makes the walk through the forest that much better - you take the time to appreciate all that is around you :upsidedow

depends what type of parties you go to. i myself go to parties where the focus is music - dance parties, outdoor festivals, clubs, and so on. nothing better then smoking a spliff and dancing for hours.
