Saudi Arabia is no different than what the taliban had set up in Afghanistan really concerning Islamic law.

I am surprised you people want to try and find reason with these countries and hope there is something good about them. These are people that use 5 year olds as human shields.

That barbarism, torture, and degeneracy is still rampant, perhaps far more rampant since America invaded. Maybe you're right and those cultures can be changed using bombs and brute force, but I doubt it, unless those bombs wipe out everybody, or we maintain supremacy there over the course of centuries. Those countries are theocratic to the bone and ethnic divisions have existed there for thousands of years. They haven't known peace for millenia. Right now US forces are making deals with some of those groups to fight common enemies but what lurks just underneath is a seething hatred for American presence.
