Yeah that was pretty weak, but Cyberxxx is a pussy and just let them fuck him in the ass. People are learning how edgeprod does business. I just hope it doesn't bring Jace or Chio down in the process. Both seem pretty decent.

Seems till I was offline I missed a lot of drama here. Let me explain. We had an old "war" with edgeprod since 2003 - that's true and that's not a secret to anyone who saw our swearing at GFY and XBiz.

And yes I was spoken about TheSponsorFeeds vs FeedPushers problem to Shageman before I decided to contact Edgeprod. After that we had some long and productive negotiations with Edgeprod and have decided to accept some mutually beneficial agreement to avoid my customers from potential patent-related problems. I can't disclosure here any additional info regarding that agreement without Edgeprod's permission because we agreed it that all the details will be between us only - me and Edgeprod.

As about the CyberSEO plugin some ppl. asking about in this thread. This product never was a subject of any legal claims and it's still available at cyberseo.net for anyone who is interested in it. Furthermore, I still support TheSponsorFeeds product and will provide any required support to my customers (free consultations, bug fixes, improvements etc). That's not against our deal with Edgeprod so you don't have to be worried about it.

Actually that's 100% correct. We had a deal which is ok for both sides, and I don't see any problem here for TheSponsorFeeds customers - they still have a free lifetime support on the product they bought.

Shageman I told you that we've made a deal with Edgeprod. I can't post the ICQ logs (yours or his) here because it's a private info. I can't give you the info on that deal because it's private, but I can assure you that my clients (including you who ordered TheSponsoreFeeds already) will be protected from any possible legal claims.

So it wasn't really serious to both of us, but when it was about to involve (even potentially) my US-based clients, I decided to suggest Edgeprod and peace and we came to some mutually profitable deal. So both sides (Feed Pushers and TheSponsorFeeds) got all the best they can benefit from that deal but not from a war.

P.S. In my opinion "pussy" is a person who sells some product then runs away in case of any legal problems and saying to his clients: "I'm leaving this business, so I don't care about your problems - fuck you and bye". The ppl here are used to think about Russians exactly like that way. But I'm not a scammer and I do care about my clients, so I'll do everything I consider right to protect their interests.

Actually I did read that thread. The problem is that ppl. here don't understand some important things... I can't disclosure here the details of my deal with Edegeprod, but I can tell you how it affects my TheSponsorFeeds project.
1) I haven't left TheSponsorFeeds and I haven't sold it.
2) I'm still providing and I will provide all the necessary support and upgrades to TheSponsorFeeds clients.
3) Edgeprod publically confirmed (in another thread here at GFY) that he won't start any legal actions against my clients (especially the US-based ones).

So, is that bad news for anyone here?

Everything else in that deal is between us (me and Edgeprod) and is related to other coming up projects.

Actually I can't say Edgeprod is a scammer. He hasn't ripped of my code as well as I haven't ripped of his one. Also I don't think that Playboy and Adult.com will be working with shady people. So if they work with Edge, it proves he is not a scammer IMHO. That's a very serious argument for me :2 cents:

TheSponsorFeeds was intended from small affiliate programs what have to write their feeds themselves, but Feed Pushers was intended to big ones what can afford their services (as far as I know they do provide not just a tool to make the feeds but the feeds themselves as well).

Not me. I'm in Russia and the US patent is nothing here. This could be a problem to my US-based customers. I do respect the ppl. who payed me for my script and I will do anything I can to protect them from any possible damage. I'm working in adult business since 2001 and there is no person who was damaged because of doing business with me. I'm going to follow this way.

Back to topic. To get a patent , it is not a 3 day or 3 day thingy with filing and all that BS...... so in order for this patent to have been filed and anywhere near giving out it would have been filed long time ago

When i trademarked some stuff , it took USPTO fucking months to get response from em.... and then made changes then resubmit and so on.

I was listening to something on one of those news magazine television shows - it can take anywhere from six months to several years right now because the patent office is so understaffed, and behind the times especially when it comes to the internet/computers etc
