After waiting for almost 30 years they decided to hurry up the process a bit - of course terrorism was used, there is no doubt about this - including giving up another 25 percent or so of the land to Egypt and to Jordan. The UN that came in and settled the matter.

Palestine was never a national country the way we know it - it was always a geographical term, the people did not associate themselves with the area that is now Israel. There was no cry for a Palestinian homeland when Egypt controlled the Gaza and Jordan owned what ever they managed to steal away from the Balfour Decleration.

Historical fact is just that - it should not be based on any religious beliefs or writings.

I wasn't implying that they wouldn't win easily. I was implying that there are alway fallout and repercussions for such actions. Isreal may have a superior army, but there are like 5 or 6 arab countries that will go apeshit over the use of such a weapon. Not to mention other countries of the world that would strongly object.

If you put aside all religious reasons - Zionist or not, you surely have to conclude that one group was there before the other. If it is a battle between the Palestinians and the Israelis the evidence seems to be overwhelming - forgetting all religious argument - that the Israelis were there first. But even if true, the Israelis are doing themselves no favour with their actions towards the Palestinians today.
