I find it very convient on Fridays that when I hit "pay" 1000's of people have the money that second regardless of where they live. To me, that's of GREAT value. But like I said, it's a choice, no one is forcing anyone.

If an affiliate makes a deal and he's not some GFY moron with 8 clicks, I'll go add a 100 bucks to his account and cover his next 2 years of check fees :)

For those that obviously don't know us, we actually have a great relationship with all our affiliates. We host many of them on dedicated servers shoot content for them, hang out etc. . . A couple morons from GFY with no relationship with us or our affiliates won't change that LOL

wanna know why? because ramos doesn't follow through with ANYTHING he says he will...other sponsor reps that chatted me up on icq and got shit done that they said they would get done, now have 500-1000 uniques a day coming from me from pure SE traffic...but ramos talked that big game, and never got anything done

so, make fun of my 8 hits for this period all you want, it was YOUR rep that didn't get shit done

im sorry that you feel the people who don't send thousands of hits a day to you and get 3 sales are more important then the guys who send 8 and get a sale, shows who you care more about, personally, i would rather treat ALL affiliates the same, whether they send me 500 hits and get 3 sales, or 100 hits and get 1 sale, they are your bread and butter, but i guess you're shitting on them here...

i personally, haven't pushed mayors money much as i really don't have the traffic for that niche, but this thread, and your mentality towards the small guys, makes me not want too, solo sites are dime a dozen, i can send my traffic to someone else

Instead of using the stick mayor, you should have used the carrot.

Incentive to use EPass/Wire would have been enough, raising the check cost to $5 was sure to drum up a public outlash like this (even though it's only 5 friggin dollars).

Alot of people still rightfully have reservations about Epass.

I suppose you could have a point, but if you notice, not one productive webmaster is quitting, not one of these guys would have ever been accepted as an affiliate. So really the effect is the same only this way I get a busy thread ;)

Not a bad idea really. People who are using the bandwidth will spend money, while people who are not would essentially be making more per payout, or could spend that "$10" cost somewhere else..

When I read the e-mail I was a bit shocked at first but thinking about it then its not so bad really. More and more sponsors are trying to get people to take their pay outs via epass and that suits me fine. Checks suck. Epass is instant and much better in my opinion :)

personally, im not mad about the $5 fee, do what you gotta do, my gripe is about how you handled yourself in this thread... if you were more professional, i wouldn't of had a problem, but you ran your mouth instead of being professional, and "these guys who whine wouldn't be accepted anyway" i'm whining, and i was accepted to your program, so whats that mean? you'll kill my account?

While $5 does seem a bit steep, I'd rather pay that then get an ePass payment, even with automatic bank transfer. I'm just a little fish and I still get around 10 checks a week, its a LOT easier recording my checks than checking my bank account every day to see if Company ABC is paying. I will admit that doing this does slow down the process of me actually "having" the money by 2-4 weeks, but I'm cool with that.

I got that email today too... I don't know what everyone is complaining about.

$5 for a cheque isn't bad especially when you have a free epass option, you guys compare it to an employer charging you for your pay cheque? Well guess what, you're not an employee, you're a third party affiliate. Do you expect them to pay your bank fee's too when you deposit it?

Besides, i'm pretty sure the affiliates they aim to please aren't the ones bitching and moaning about an extra 5 bucks.

I feel I have to jump in. Mayors Money has been nothing short of great with me. Almost every one of thier crew has ICQ'd me and tried to get my conversions up, helped me with many many things. I am the farthest thing from a "whale" you could be in this business. In fact, I am surprsied they havent dropped me as an affiliate yet. Its $5. If you dont want to pay it, go with ePassporte. He offered to pay for your acct, who cares. Thier program converts and rebills.

About Ramos, I complained my stats were low, needed something fresh, the next day I guess the team made me 20 templates, FREE, and gave them to me. The ratios went way up. That was within 24 hours.Try asking another program for that.

I suppose I'm saying I would pay $50 a pay period for help and dedication like these guys have given me. Im not trying to start a fight, Im just giving input from the "little mans" POV. :2 cents:

Jace, we chatted about working together. If I remember correctly, you pointed out that our RSS Feeds were not working properly. So, I had them fixed and within a short time they were working properly. I took care of the issue at hand. If there is something else that I missed I will be more than happy to help you.

I handle all of MayorsMoney Affiliates, so if I missed something that we were supposed to have done for you or I didn't follow up properly, these things happen and I apologize.

Epass has a charge on regular accounts to move the cash to the bank account. It is $2 i think.

Epassporte is the more convenient method for everyone, and upping the pay sounds like a motivational way to get customers converted over. Helps everyone out.

Affiliates aren't customers... you don't have to please the pricks unless you are the type of guy who likes to get shat on on for a couple clicks.

You may be right, you may be wrong. I'm betting $5 check fees won't keep the guys that get 10K+ weekly wires from using us. If it does I'll eat my words :)
