Just finished transferring over a few loose domains that were with directnic.

directNIC Account Stats
Domains in Account: 0

If anyone else needs a registrar that won't shut you down for any reason hit me up and I will take care of you.

i suggest http://www.gandi.net . Seems it's one of the view Registars that give you FULL ownership/property for your domain. It's located in France where Domains are handled as Property. Due their Stats they seem to be the 6th largest Registar in Europe. I'am still searching and reviewing other Registrars, but seems this one is top notch and even on the same price level or cheaper than DirectNIC. Something everybody interested in REALLY OWNING his DOMAIN shoud check.

So you are one of them low-level lawyers then. Mine charges me $400 an hour.

Do you accept Candadian clients? :D

Understand the request was for photo ID with a DOB etc. OK, failure there may be a 2257 offense.

To enter the realm of "CP" or child abuse, there needs to be evidence - hard fact evidence, ie.. not that this or that girl looks like 15 blah. If there is no question that the images are genuinely of kids, that's prob another matter for a prosecutor and, don't know that scenario, but prob easier to formulate charges.

.

I remember an attorney saying, (court) if you don't have age docs and someone thinks the image is CP then they will bring in expects to analyze the image and make a case that it is without a doubt a minor. You will have someone say otherwise, it will be left up to a jury. But when she looks 13 to everyone here, what do you think a jury is going to think when youhave no proof to show otherwise.

* not that you don't have age docs and the affiliate company does. If it can be proved by getting the docs from them then you can show she is legal age. But what happens when you hit them up and they say oh shit, we can't find that one ? And the photographer is long gone, no way to contact the model. etc..

True.. your first para could be the easy way out for a prosecutor if that could be found acceptable in whatever jurisdiction (Obviously clean cut issues where it is clearly a child have more chance).

Hard to say and depending on the circumstances - got a feeling if the issue was obviously related to "CP" - law enforcement in other countries would be giving sponsors an early rise from bed in the morning, removing all computers, hard drives and any documents from offices and homes and taking statements until it was established one way or other :) Tho, got to be good grounds for that and with court orders for search and seizure - but can happen very quickly and little discussion.
