				 | I have an HP that I bought 70 days ago, and I'm buying a Dell next week.. What's that tell you about HP? Fucking keyboard SUCKS! Already lost my F key, half the keys don't work half the time, it's sluggish as shit, takes over 8 minutes to boot up now... Was awesome the first 30 days.

				 | I have a vaio SZ-260P/C and it is overpriced, and underperforming my battery life NEVER goes above 4 hours (vs the advertised 7 hours), and my internet connectivity is much worse than my previous laptops. And the body seems a little flimsy, even with carbon fiber. besides that, yes it is a kickass laptop, but there are better out there |

				 | Yah.. I just heard about the macbooks actually.. I definitely wouldn't mind dual booting.. Macs are really good for designing graphics and doing music i hear too right? I have a sony vaio right now and personally i bought it for 1500 and it runs like a piece of shit.. THat was about 8 months ago.. Thing lags out on me all the time.. Runs .net interface horribly.. I think i'm going to go with a MacBook.. The ibms are really nice business machines but the graphics end is horrible.. and i have to admit, i don't mind shooting down some terrorists every couple days when I get bored..

				 | A couple weeks ago I got a VAIO with core2 duo 1.66ghz, 120gb, 1gig ram, DVDr and all that crap was pretty cheap, so far so good ... certainly the screen kicks ass The days that people went "wow, you got a vaio!" are long over ... eventhough they still look good, they're in everybody's price-range now (well not the high-end ones, but anyway) whatever you do, don't get a girly white laptop ... it has "gay" all over it :p

a few tips 1. don't install any of the 3rd party fan controllers - you'll just have to redo your computer from the beginning.. 2. once you migrate to mac, software wise - you'll probably use windows less and less - if at all 3. graphics wise - you'll never regret getting into a mac

regarding lagging - I also have a 24" IMac - with 3gigs of memory - and my main 15" MacBook Pro - with 2 gigs of memory keeps up very very well.. never a problem - I only keep about 50 windows open at a time once you get into mac you'll never regret it

				 | Sony VAIOs look good but run like shit. My last one cost me £2000 (US$3800) and lasted a whole 18 months before giving up completely due manufacturing faults and dodgy parts. MACs are obviously the designers' choice, gorgeous and great performance though you may want to stick with PCs for convenience. If so I'd recommend AlienWare. These babies are designed by gamers for gamers, so you can bet they're the business in terms of performance. Rock solid. They're not bad to look at either, maybe a little bulkier depending on the model, but that's a small trade off for what you get. Personally, this is my next laptop. D/

				 | MacBook Pro with no doubt. Mac OSX is BSD Unix and Xp well, it's XP and you can run them both. Using Parallels you can actually run XP or Vista in a virtual machine under OSX. If the application software you use runs under oSX you will rarely use Windows Again. |
