If it did he would prob lose in the end just by sheer numbers and there isnt really a way to "win" against a company when your an individual..

If everyone sued zango today they would just pull an ibill , im sure they already have a whole "backup" company all ready to slip into once the feds come knocking again.. everyone will just be an "employee" and some new company called "pango" would start up.

Alot of Company documents would have to be released in court as evidence.

Zango already paid a fine to the FCC which is basically an admitted fault.

Personally, with good lawyers on both ends, I don't think they'd have much of a case against Will. Most of the stuff he has posted is the truth, and has been backed by Lars who had a reason for it. Still, if you want someone to shut up, suing the fuck out of them is often times a great way to scare them, even if you have no intentions of following through.

I just don't think they care. Out of all the money AFF makes, does a few threads on a message board really cut into their bottom line? I'd guess that 99% of AFF affiliates don't have a clue what Zango is. The other % that does, probably makes enough money on them that they don't care.

Although I agree with Will on the issue, all the threads won't change much. Webmasters see one thing, money. If AFF makes them more money than the next company, they will use AFF.

In a libel or slander suit the best defense is that you are telling the truth - it's not the only issue but i will bet there's never been a successful libel or slander case where the alleged defamation was shown to be substantially true.

Lars and Co. have proven to be less than agressive in protecting their own interests and those of their affiliates, and so far I haven't seen Will say anything that couldn't be supported by what can be seen by normal means.

the cams/aff comments and "official statements" on the Zango issue have been very, umm, light weight, and the reactions to any of the post presenting other sites being popped over their sites or affecting affiliates has been about nil. In a vacuum of official information, others will speculate based on what is seen and what is happening on the playing field.

Unless there is something that will has specifically said that is not true based on the information known at that time, there isn't much to work with.
