I did make the bank serve me. What you don't understand is that respectable people don't want to be seen "making them serve".
Observers will always have their own opinion of how it went down and some will peg me as the asshole customer. I don't want to have to be an asshole to cash the check, that doesn't help me in the long term of working with the bank. When I want a loan they will then be the asshole.

Besides, if Hodough didn't worry about the stuff on the checks then why did they black out the affiliate ID on every check? Didn't want the bank to see that affiliate "mega_cock" was making money?



The dumbest part of this thread is that people are acting as though it would destroy Hodough to replace the logo on the check with something more professional looking. Now that's fucking dumb!

Further, even the membership sign up form on your paysites are binding in that if a surfer pays then you have to provide a service. If you cancel their account because they posted on a board that your content sucked then they could sue you to get access again and or refund all their money.

If the shit was not binding then I would just build tours and sign up forms and take money and send an email with a "thank you for signing up, but I personally don't want you as a member so I cancelled your account and will not refund the money". I'd probably only get 3 years in jail in addition to being sued.

I've had disagreements with other sponsors(it's called business) and my links are still up and sign ups are comming in. Smart sponsors don't delete account it's just stupid.

If a sponsor demonstrates they are stupid, then where are you going to go with them. Eventually it will catch up to them and you'll have 1000's of useless webpages with their banner on them.

In my opinion It doesnt matter what the logo on the check is - the woman at the bank wouldnt know that you are an "Adult Webmaster" because of it - for all she knows, you just got a check from someone with a funky and racy logo. I would be more concerned cashing checks with Pooh Bear or Tweety Bird on it. The HoDough crew has no qualms about ordering these checks, dont know why its such an issue for you to cash it!
