I just got the fucking 3rd degree to the max trying to deposit your check.
Of course the "BITCH" at the bank is to fault but what set her bullshit into motion was the logo image on the check.

She paraded back and forth behind the counter speaking to two differrent managers, with her pregnant bare-foot ass! And took 15 minutes before she even began to tell me what the probem was.

"I'm not familiar with this check" was her reply. As if the bitch would be familiar with every check that came through the bank. Of course not!
What she was really saying is "What the fuck is this...this can't be a real check".

But then again, she's got a right to think that because a check is a financial instrument and not a billboard for promotion. A check should represent professionalism so that it is trusted. It shouldn't look like some shit some kid drew up on his computer. The guy on the check dressed like a bandit has got to have a subliminal effect on someone screening for crime!!
I mean, how stupid would you feel is you cashed a bad check that had a picture of a fucking crook on it? Co-workers are going to be like "damn, idiot, didn't you look at the fucking thing?"

I understand that you are proud of your logo but you need to consider where it is appropriate to display it.

The problem with nats is it tries to do too fucking much.
Many of it's features like getting link codes create more headaches for affiliates than it can solves; but sposnors go "cool we like that".
They should try using the shit as an affiliate and their opinion would change.

I think the biggest factor in the downfall of ARS(Adult revenue service) was making their program more and more sophisticated. It got to where you couldn't even download the stats page on dialup. They just had to give you "every option possible" to view stats to where I gave up trying to view any fucking thing. They were one of the biggest programs ever!

You sent some traffic, we sent you a check, you cashed the check, the check cleared. This is the first time we've ever had our company logo become such a major issue for someone, and based on your past few weeks of posts targeting our program, unfortunately, it seems as though we are no longer able to satisfy your needs as a reseller.

I went ahead and suspended your account, so this check cashing issue doesn't happen to you in the future.

sounds like you're pissed over his totally legit complaint. some of us just don't want to deal with the bullshit of non industry people giving us a hard time over things such as adult words on checks or questionable logos. i think suspending his account was an emotional unprofessional reaction.

I'm have no feelings about this whatsoever. This decision was his, not ours, as per the thread title "Sorry HoDough but I got to GO", and his recent posts regarding his issues with our program's operations. He has the option to continue if he likes, however, I don't see the point in it. It's plainly obvious that he isn't happy with the program for whatever his reasons are, so I bid him a fond farewell.

I agree, the logo isn't necessary, but it is our brand and it isn't exactly "explicit", it's a cartoon of some 1940's characters as shown below:

It's a fact of life, that if you work in porn... you are going to get snears now and again for it. The money is good, the checks are valid. I don't really see the issue here aside from the occasional delay.

Should you promote programs that print their logos on the check? That's up to you. Should the program change it's entire system if you don't like it? I don't think so.

ps. This is a dumb thread to start with, theres nothing wrong with the logo... no need to slander a company because some bitch at the bank gave you a hard time. Chances are you must be new with that bank or for some reason they don't trust you.

Shows his lack of experience in the biz also. Most affiliates that complain and drop a sponsor will untimately try them again in time if things appear to have changed.

Further he doesn't realize that I signed a "contract" when I signed up as an affiliate and I could sue him for canceling the account without just cause.
Complaining about the way the logo looks is not slander or criminal and it's really something to laugh about(after you change it).


The fact that he can't take a hit to the chin for the lack of class in the paycheck is an indication that he will probably not be in this biz for very long.

You know, you can get your merchant account suspended by affilates complaining about you and your handling of biz. Suspending an affiliate account without just cause is a sueable act. Saying your logo sucks will not hold up in court as just cause. Those webmaster sign up forms are agreements that are binding. You better learn that before you suspend the wrong motherfucker's account. If I had rebills comming(used per signup) it wouldn't be very much of a stretch to charge you with theft of services for failing to pay me because I hate your logo on my check.

You should be adult enough to count the number of affiliates in this post that aggree with me about the logo on the check.

Of course it would have been professional to say:
"Unfortunately we cannot change the logo at this time; we will consider your complaint and try to accomidate all our affiliates in all areas of promotion and payment. We appreciate your traffic and hope you continue to promote one of the hottest sponsors around...Hodough!"

You'd be suprised at how simple stuff like that allows you to continue without giving a shit about affiliate complaints and keep their traffic too.

BTW: I probably would never have even posted this if Hodough answered email or had a support link in the webmaster area that didn't lead to a blank page.

Printing a logo or porn oriented name on a check shows a lack of class and understanding by the issuer. PERIOD.

The depositor has a right to privacy about what he/she does for a living.

The depositor needs to develop a trustworthy relationship with the conservative management in most lending institutions. Future loans, credit lines, etc, are based on the banks perception of the individual as well as his financial history.

So I had to come to the board and make post #1 to even get a reply from Hodough which resulted in being told standard information that most programs put in the FAQ.

After that I didn't feel like sending more email into outter space.

So here we are.
