Important information regarding problems with 365 billing

365 billing did not make payroll Friday for some of their call center employees and the reason given was that they were having issues with their bank. A separate source confirmed that their acquiring bank had pulled their US merchant account.

I dug a little bit and would not have posted what I did if I did not discover what follows.

All logos except for the Visa/Mastercard logos are gone from their signup pages. If they are settling the transactions, they may be doing it from a non-US merchant account, which leaves their clients open to cross-border acquiring violations.

https://secure.365billing.com/cgi-bi...f2e45026538ce7

A look at a signup form shows a prechecked "Check here to certify that you are 18 years of age" statement, which now removes the legal protection for the ipsp as well as the website owner, of requiring the consumer to opt-in to the premise that they are over 18. A website owner or ipsp will have a tough time in court defending how they keep the content away from minors when they have a prechecked ?I am over 18? statement. The only reason I could think of why they would change this is that they need throughput, regardless of the consequences.

All I see is a visa and mastercard logo, no other card logos are present. No pre-check either...

Customers calling their call center have to wait 30 minutes plus for the phone to get answered, if it is answered at all. This may be a result of CS not getting paid Friday.

If I were a 365 billing client, I would get some definite answers on what region the Visa transactions are getting settled out of, in order to not risk my Visa merchant status and my ability to process Visa transactions.

serves them right. only a shady billing company would allow clients to convert a 7.95 trial into a year long 95$ membership by DEFAULT.

You would think that if this was legit, someone would post under a real nic!

Who the fuck are you honsiller? 32 posts of which no substance until this one?? Something is fishy, also our 365 pages are fine!

We must really be scaring people in this industry!

365billings President got a call yesterday evening from one of our clients having heard the exact same rumor directly from a BILLING REP of another IPSP (Processor).

If any one of our customers, partners or prospects have any LEGITIMATE concerns, please contact your rep or our customer service line.

This is indeed a fact, no bullshit to this one. CCG, the company behind 365Billing as well as OPS Billing (not paying clients) did not make payroll last week.

I may not be E.F. Hutton but is this the place you want your company's financail future????

Just look at the people behind the organization for your answers. You won't have to dig too deep to draw your own conclusions on trustworthiness, loyalty and honesty.

Legitimately exposing issues with a processing company would only make me enemies. And attacking the poster rather than the merits of the points is directly out of the spin playbook.

When I called the call center I was on hold for 30 minutes before I gave up

With how instable adult processing has been over the past 7 years, I felt the recent changes with the ?I am over 18? disclosure and not having discover and jcb credit card options on the signup forms I had checked were worth posting about, on top of them not being able to pay their call center staff. I was not the only one to bring this up

Hey - leave me out of this one.
I don't know anything about these accusations one way or another, but taking a part of a post from another thread about something completely different is NOT fair game

I just got back from Europe so I have not responded to this till now. I can tell you that our bankers confirmed that 365 Merchant aquiring bank in the US decided to exit the High Risk processing space this last week. I am not sure if they have found another relationship at this point or not but hopefully management will put out an offical statement since this is now common knowledge in the banking community.

Hello,
We are in the same business and OPsbilling has not paid me in over 2 months and it is always the same damn story "well not now,Now they will not even return my calls or e-mails" but I was receiving e-mails stating oh you will get paid this week and then nothing-same shit all the time and now need a payment processor! Anybody know of a good one?"

Anthony, when we met on Internext OPSbilling name was right on your booth next to 365billing and Jettis- someone got a picture saved maybe? BTW, from CCG Technologies (your parent company I guess) website:
"With the demands of changing markets and traditional models, CCG takes an innovative approach, offering clients more options and enabling them to better manage their long-term business objectives. The four primary clients CCG manages are 365Billing, Jettis, OPS
and 3Cinteractive."

Interesting to see that 365 just posted an official statement that their acquiring bank has not exited and is not exiting high risk.

I have no interest in this thread since I don't use ccbill or 365, but if what Ron is saying is true then this is bad news for 365, if what he is saying is not true then he owes 365 an apology. JMHO.

I may not be E.F. Hutton but is this the place you want your company's financail future????

Just look at the people behind the organization for your answers. You won't have to dig too deep to draw your own conclusions on trustworthiness, loyalty and honesty.
arent you a former employee of the company that started 365?

sour grapes?
