After having a great time with a great bunch of people, I find out someone has totally fucked up my truck while I was staying at the hotel. And not only that, but I was parked on the first floor of the parking garage, about 5 cars in. In pain view of just about anyone that used the elevator.

So I call up the Diplomat, and speak to their security office. Their advice, ?call Hollywood Police?. I?m like, is that all you can do for me? ?Yes?. Well thanks very fucking much, I say and hang up the phone. I mean, they weren?t even like ohh man, I?m sorry to hear about that. I ask, does this happen often, ?yes we get all kinds of crimes and accidents in the garage.?

I?ve only had my truck since March and I swear if I could find these fuckers I?d fucking break some skulls. And this is not the first incident there. Last year, Dave from webmastervault.com had his ipod stolen out of his car by valet. Must be a bunch of fucking thieves waiting for us to show up.

I got insurance on the case, but it?s not going to be good. I?m sure my rates are going up now. And I have a $500 dollar deducible. And to be honest, I wouldn?t be half as mad it they just stole the lights, but they broke the grill, deeply scratched the paint. You can see where they pried on the body to get the lights out. Cut or ripped all the wiring harnesses. Basically just destroyed anything that was around the headlight assemblies.

Fucking cock suckers.

That hotel sucks. they had a car that was valet parked in front of the doors stolen. The guy walks up, and yells at the valet to get the keys for his ferarri. they guy hands them to him, and he drives away. About an hour later, the owner comes out with the parking ticket, and the car is gone. Answer from the hotel. Sorry!

That's really weird! They do have security (valet) present all the time! One of the staff (had left him a nice tip...) had told me to leave the car with valet cuz it's safer. It kind of felt that he knew for sure something would happen to the car....but that was just an impression...

Hope those of you that didnt drive checked your bill. They charged me 20.00 a night for valet, and I didnt drive. 80.00 added on. hmmmm lol I had a small shit fit on them, but other than that, I had a very good experience with the hotel.

that looks like a pro job someone needed that part. That happened when I worked for jag, the customer calls and says I use bought the car and the headlights wont come on. So I tell him to look at the headlights and he starts freaking out. They stole them,very clean job it cost him 3 grand to replace.

The Diplomat is the absolute worst hotel in it's class I've ever stayed in. 3 years running, we had abysmal service from the staff, the bill was always wrong, valets always took forever (even at 3am when no one was asking for their car) and in general it just sucked.

I asked for the general manager, was told (in effect) that he doesn't speak to mere mortals... and so when Westin sent a "How was your stay" I absolutely ripped them and said this hotel should lose its Westin franchise it was soooo bad... when nearly everyone is awful, you KNOW the attitude is coming straight from the top.

Anyway... I got a call from the general manager and he fell all over himself promising it would be much better this year. We decided to pass (as did many other gay companies) because it sucked so bad last year, but word I've heard from the people who went was that it was just as bad as previous years.

I don't get WHY AVN continues to make dumbassed moves. Don't they know that they're quickly being outclassed by shows like the Phoenix Forum?
