People Working on ePassporte Alternatives - In Here Now

Who are you?
Where are you?
What are you working on?
How can I help?

Its time for this pathetic joke of a company to come to and end. PayPal should have died long ago and ePass has also outlasted its usefulness.

From time to time, I have talked to at least a couple of different people who were working on creating some competition for ePassporte a while ago. Tell me how I can help you complete your plans? This is volunteer work, I'm not looking for a dime. My payment will be watching ePassporte breathe its last.

I suspect you are being a smartass with your reply. I'll bring whatever I can to the table. My desire to see ePassporte shit on its last customer is powerful enough right now that I'm willing to work for free to help bring it about. You dont have to take my help but dont kick me in the mouth for offering.

There must be players working on this behind the scenes. There are no satisfactory options currently but a lot of money to be made for people with deep experience in this area of banking/finance.

I still don't see the problem in using paypal for adult transactions. I do it all the time. I have yet to have a problem because I don't mention anything about adult in the transaction.. I know it's hard to grasp the concept of not putting, "THIS IS PORN ADULT, NOT ALLOWED" in the subject of your paypal transactions because the temptation is always there but maybe if people weren't so stupid they wouldn't have problems like me.

Actually, the siggy is not for sale anymore. I have been trying to think of something to replace it with but was coming up blank, but it just came to me. My old sigpimp is going to rebook as soon as ePassporte unscrews his account. Though that wont matter much now, since they took my ePass down too.

And I'm not here to make friends. Alot of you all see this as some popularity contest, but I dont. If you dont like what I have to say, you can take a number and begin fucking yourself with a large, rusty, barbed object of some sort.

If someone dosent wanna work with me then they dont have to, but the offer is there and most people who are trying to get a venture off the ground with even small amounts of intelligence take offers of free labor when they can get it.

1.) "A lot" is two words.
2.) You sound really worked up and angry over something so small as an industry webmaster board.

i hope someone takes you up on your free work! i look forward to seeing what you come up with! good luck. if you don't like working with ePassporte, then don't.

just as you said, everyone has a choice - to work or not to work with someone/a company/etc. and if you think EP is so bad, you have the choice not to do business with the company. but that's your choice. or you could bitch on the boards a bunch. either way. same message, just more B.S. to sift through.

please contact me if you need actually HELP with your ePassporte account that no one has resolved for you yet. thank you. (see contact info in sig)

You're damn right I am worked up, but not over whats going on this board. I never take this place seriously.

You know damn good and well that I need assistance with the account. You have obviously read the other thread and know what the problem is (and if you didnt, that begs the question then why are posting about something you are uninformed about), so you asking me to restate my desire for assistance is nothing more than a clever little stab of sarcasim.

If you wanted to score points on here with me and with everyone else reading this thread, you would have posted a soultion or an answer to the issue at hand rather than taking shots at me.

If you actually want to HELP me, then, I'd be thankful for the help. I dont define posting "Please e-mail so and so and CC me" as help. Thats called the runaround, which ePass seems to have a hard time distinguishing from help.

Yes, I know. Time and effort. I know some people are working on stuff as I talked to them a while ago, but I cant remember for the life of me who they are. I suppose I could sift through IRC/AIM/ICQ logs and figure it out eventually.

i quite like epassporte but why is it epassporte and not epassport (Without the e at the end). I think a better domain would have been cooler.

plus, why not combine atm card and virtual visa so u have one visa number that can do all things.

tassy, never had any luck with epasspot myself. gave up trying to get an account after 3 days of trying . . and I never see anything but problems here at gfy with epass. best of luck with the epass stuff, no hard feeling and no complaints here at my end, just not for me

minusonebit - you could use some business communication classes. i had a problem with epassporte once. i was polite and chris personally saw to it that the giftcard i sent was fedexed at epassporte's expense.

you don't want people to like you? fine, but the truth is that you can get a lot done by being courteous and pleasant. 'cause even if you don't care for the way a company does business, the reps are fellow humans and THEY are not causing your problem. so you have a choice - to make them want to help you or to be a complete rude assface and make no one want to help you.

remember, not only do you have a choice whether or not to do business with a company - they have the choice whether or not to do business with you. why burn your bridges?

ePassporte dosent pay me to be nice to them. However, I did pay them to provide a service.

I see no point in being nice to a company as they bend me over a barrel and shove it in. Its an unneeded expenditure of effort on my part that is never returned in kind. And lets keep in mind that if you arent part of the soultion then you are part of the problem. None of the ePass reps have thus far been a part of any soultion. So yes, it is thier fault as much as anyone elses.

We're all humans. I dont expect anyone to give me respect based on that sole fact and as such I dont give it. Respect is not given, its earned. Thus far, ePass has earned none and therefore gets none.

And yes, they are free to choose not to do business with me. They are not free to choose to defraud me. Never get the two confused.

Epass has their issues, but there's only two real things about epass that bother me. The first is the amount of time it takes to move money from epass to a bank account....i mean, 1 week (sometimes longer) is a joke. But hey, what can you do. Irritating yes, but a small price to pay.

The second thing is only being able to have one bank account to transfer to.
Other then those two issues, epass has been ok and does it's job.

The one thing i don't understand is how Keyser seems to hold that company together with his support. When do you sleep man? lol The guy is a machine and a blessing to deal with. And he gets shit done when he says he will. I really hope they're paying you well Keyser for all the shit (and negativity) that you have to deal with a daily basis. You certainly have earned it and then some.

Ive never had problems with epass, but their reputation has me scared.

If an EXISTING company with a LONG STANDING reputation decides to compete with epass, i'd switch in a heartbeat.

Usually all he posts is "Please e-mail me..." or "Please ICQ me...". Thats customer service? Wow, you are an easy bunch to please. I could write a bot to do what Keyser does.

The service comes in when "i" actually "DO" icq him and he takes care of my issues right then and there or gets back to me with answers to questions in a speedy amount of time.

Bottomline man..i know you've been through some shit and I'm not defending epass. There's tons of anti-epass threads here on GFY as is, so we all know there's problems.

The ONLY point i was trying to make is that Keyser is the ONLY thing that has kept myself and others 'somewhat' sane when having to deal with the frustrations of that company when they DO arise.

This is the internet. Open 24/7/365. No holidays, no closures. I work seven days a week and so do they. If thier call center is open, they should be dealing with issues. The call center is, the last time I checked and according to memory, open 24/7.

If 2CheckOut.com is open, then they should be too. And if this issue had happened with 2CO, they would not wait for ME to contact THEM to find out WHY the account was KILLED. They send a notice as soon as its done.

Bank Atlantic being the main one that comes to mind.

bump for alternatives.. i love the idea of peer to peer cashless transactions, but paypal and epass both suck so much.

i have no problems with epass, i don't see why people must make it their lifeline, if thats the cause maybe you should look for alternatives, nothing is flawless, no company in the world exists without problems, someone will ALWAYS be unsatisfied. I myself have money in 3 different banks because I have worked in customer service for many companies and know problems can occur, ones that are not expected and can take time to rectify, so i have created backups to get money if i require.

it's not what he posts here that is so helpful, it's what he does once you actually contact him via one of those methods.

did you want us posting your account information on the boards for any issues you are having? i don't think anyone wants that, and if they did it'd be just plain foolish.

keyser has already told you chris received your email (as did i) and that chris would be responding to it himself. we've been trying to work with you for days now, even through your constant insults. he's the ceo of the company, you could give him a minute.

Our company has spent many years in the financial services market. And
we do not terminate our clients' accounts without any strong reasons
in contrast to Epassporte.

Tick tock. Still no response to the e-mail. Five calander days. Disgusting. Even 2CheckOut turns tickets around faster than that on thier WORST day.

Yes, if I post in a forum, I have already waived my right to privacy about the situation. I waived that right when I took it into a public forum. Now, so long as you dont post my Slave State Number (SSN), my card number/account number or my address, then everything else is game because I took it to a public forum. So yes, I do expect a public reponse and his contstant posting of "Please contact me via...XXX" is something a bot could be scripted up to handle.

Your definition of "trying to work with me" has thus far amounted to telling me that my account has been closed for some sin I have committed against the terms of service that has yet to be named. Why dont you morons point to the exact section of your TOS that deals with the grave violation I have allegedly committed.
