sad really. the self loathing that must come with a lifetime's worth of bad decisions forcing him to put down those of us who've made good decisions and are happy with the country we live in.

Actually Webby, 12clicks is completely right on that point. I'm sorry that you disagree though, but look at the pattern of posting on this board. The people with the boldest opinions, the people with racist comments, the people that generalize and stereotype are almost always shooting their comments out from an anonymous nickname.

Why is that? Why would anyone spend their time posting on adult webmaster forum and not give any indication as to what they do in the biz? Why would they even bother posting? I'll tell you why...it's really easy to give bold opinions when you're cowering in anonymity.

Personally, I respect people with strong opinions, even if I disagree with them, what I don't respect is someone hurling little insults or sometimes big insults from an anonymous nick they hide behind for the purpose of flaming the board.

Can't answer for the world Mr Blue :)

It's pretty obvious there is a "disconnect" with elements in the US and the rest of the world. When was the last time you read such bullshit from webmasters in other countries?? Very rarely.

Bottom line... smell there is a *lot* of despising and ridicule going on from folks outside the US - equally, trolls spewing garbage makes it worse and... kinda embarassing. They'd be an embarassment to any nation.

When that is the face others see - sure, makes ya wonder if the rest are as insane and stupid and sure cultivates the boring old charicature.

I read it regularly on this board, lol...also a lot of people are masked in a fake nickname and they refuse to tell what country they're from. Also, there are adult webmaster boards that are dominated by Europeans, go read them for a day and you may just find that stupidity comes in all forms from all countries.

Now, I'm not saying Americans are right or that they don't make a bad impression, but guess what, a lot of them use the nicknames that they use in the biz, they post the sites they run, etc.

Take 12clicks for example...love him, hate him, but you know its him. People can say whatever they want about 12clicks, you can disagree with his politics and his posting style, but you have to respect him for not hiding in a fake nick.

I dunno where GoodGuy is from Mr B. This thread started off OK and nothing unusal - but got to the usual base GFY level quick enough.

Sure, there are trash almost everythere - but never seen anything like the level on GFY - ever :winkwink:

It's ironical... and kinda sad, that many of the people they are cursing to hell and back are the same people who would give their last dollar to help *anyone* - they would be utterly astounded at the sheer vitrol and hate spewage if they ever read this board.

Suppose it does not really matter what stupid nicks they use or who they are or what their background is - if they are a reflection of society and what comes out on a chatboard is the actual way they feel - sheesh - is that fucked up??? :)

If they are "hiding" under nicks - chances are you would not waste 5 seconds of time on them in real life anyways.

GFY does bring out a certain flavor of poster that tends to amaze me at times, lol. I'm not even sure an "online" forum is even a proper reflection of a society...as it tends to magnify personalities.

If these people were actually this abrasive in reality all the adult conventions would turn into riots, lol. Instead they meet, buy drinks, have a friendly convo, and all is right in the world.

Every american has a gun. the good familys have atleast 7 hiden around the house. And the REALLY good families have atleast 10 and each child gets to carry atleast 1 around.

Dude, you're an idiot. I'm american, lived all over this "great" nation and never even seen a gun that wasn't on a cop or in a store. Watch some more movies..

Sexxxy Sites 07-23-2006 10:22 PM

BTW, I am American and I own several guns ranging from various small caliber Rifles, to various caliber Hi Powered Rifles, Shotguns of various guage as well as multiple handguns of various calibers.

I used to hunt alot but seldom go hunting now. I still target shoot frequently with the Hi Powers and handguns, but seldom with the Shotguns. I usually carry a handgun when I go hiking for protection against wildlife. I always have a handgun easily available where ever I go, just in case I need or want to shoot a person.

Very first time - shit no - second time I ever came across what could be described as "gun culture" (tho not the correct term) was in the US. As you said, there was an actual reason for the "arms" and was related to law enforcement - but still never could "grasp" having three guns stashed in a car everywhere we went - made me kinda nervious :)

OK.. In fairness fm - sure, there is good reason under these circumstances, and, as one guy already said on this thread - it saved his ass a few times and "secured" others.

Correct me if im wonrg, but I think in USA you grow up with the gun culture in your head, and that's why you consider guns just as if they were like having a car or having a TV. Very sad. :Oh crap

You didn't answer my question. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just trying to understand the differences in our cultures. My question is this:

Might I ask what you have against firearms? Is it the death rate? Do you propose a ban on guns because it causes murder?

You've repeatedly said guns are bad, I'm asking why and what you think should be done about it in the US. Just tell me why they are bad.

I am talking about white USA families or guys who have weapons in their cars or in their houses. (Of course, I don't include Militars or cops)

Anyway, why do they have so many guns there? I heard something like 1 gun every 3 families somewhere. It's insane! In other normal countries you maybe have 1 gun every 20 families..

Also, is it true that in some banks they give you a weapon if you open a bank account? WTF?

Is "having a gun" part of the American Culture? (Like McDonalds or Hollywood).

Because we can:thumbsup

Hahahahaha, third world? Funny u should say that too! Study my friend, and u will see that most of us, "third world countries" r the ones making progress, not stationed in time.

But answering your question, yeah kids r still dying here, about 1/3 the numer of kids that die in the US.

FYI "Third World Countries" is a term that is not used in over 10 years.

You hear about it because we matter. As for the great country of Brazil, lets look at some facts:

http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_p.../cis_1072.html

Quote:

Brazil?s murder rate is four times higher than that of the U.S. Rates for other crimes are similarly high. The majority of crimes are not solved.
Quote:

Street crime remains a problem for visitors and local residents alike, especially in the evenings and late at night. Caution is advised with regard to nighttime travel through more rural areas and satellite cities due to reported incidents of roadside robberies that randomly target passing vehicles. Robbery and ?quicknapping? outside of banks and ATM machines are common. In a ?quicknapping,? criminals abduct victims for a short time in order to receive a quick payoff from the family, business or the victim?s ATM card.
Quote:

The incidence of crime against tourists is greater in areas surrounding beaches, hotels, discotheques, bars, nightclubs, and other similar establishments that cater to visitors. This type of crime is especially prevalent during Carnaval (Brazilian Mardi Gras). While the risk is greater at dusk and during the evening hours, street crime can occur both day and night, and even safer areas of cities are not immune. Incidents of theft on city buses are frequent and visitors should avoid such transportation.
Quote:

In Rio de Janeiro, efforts by jailed drug lords to exert influence over the city have led to a violent backlash against local authorities and businesses (see separate section on Rio de Janeiro).
Quote:

Very poor neighborhoods known as "favelas," such as those located on steep hillsides in Rio de Janeiro, are found throughout Brazil. These areas are sites of uncontrolled criminal activity and are often not patrolled by police. U.S. citizens are advised to avoid these unsafe areas. Carjacking is on the increase in Sao Paulo, Recife and other cities.
Much more in there for you to read. The United States is much safer than Brazil, that is a FACT.

I think you do have to get a license before being able to purchase a gun. I don't own a gun so I don't know the protocol. But I don't think it's as easy as you're claiming. Only for criminals.

Some people buy their meat in stores, others hunt it themselves. The hunting part of it I guess is like a video game where you shoot things, only it's for real. It's not for everybody, but I can understand why some would find it fun. If not for hunting, for target practice. Have you ever done archery? It's fun. It's probably even cooler using a gun.

And just so you know, I am not saying my country isn't crappy in many ways, it is, so much that it pisses me off.

But the US is going down, and most killings r totally pointless ones that hapen because of that crappy guns law. Funny thing is that the countries with fewer guns r safest ones, how about that?

Actually that is not true at all. Many European countries have higher murder rates than the US. Many more have higher rates of violent crimes.

Actually your statement is 100% false. The most violent crimes in the US have gone down 32% over the last decade. It continues to go down every single year. Perhaps you should do some research instead of making stuff up.

I'm not fan of hunting but a lot of the deer hunting that takes place actually helps out the ecosystem. In areas like Wisconsin and Minnesota, the deer can get so overpopulated that it messes with the plant life in the area. Not to mention the potential health related issues it causes.
