I have these chronic soar pains by my shoulder and some carpal tunnel from sitting at a PC for 20 hours a day. I also have bad insomnia, and I've heard it helps with that too. Is this stuff legit or BS?

my mom spent a full summer indoors due to pollen allergies that suddenly hit her in 2003... had to take a lot of meds to cope with the summer of 2004 but "discovered" acupuncture last year... she goes once a month and stays completely off meds.. so she loves it..

I have no idea how it works and frankly don't care.. she is happy and can spend as much time as she'd like outdoors and thats what matters..

I did it once when I was sick with what felt like 2 months of mono. Even though there wasn't an immediate relief, I did get over it and have felt great since then. That was 8 years ago.

i suffered from a constricted pelvic muscle for months from over training my abs...finally gave in and tried accupuncture...it totally relaxed the muscle and i feel great now...im actually off to the gym right now and will be banging out ABS today... ; )

i have bursitis in my shoulder from playing football in HS....u should look into some herbal stuff like quercetin(anti-inflammatory) and Glucosamine. They both will get the swelling down that is internal that you can not see. it really works....google it

it really helped me for a knee problem and twisted ankle, after just one session. I think a lot of its about being totally relaxed. It really doesnt hurt.

When I was a kid I suffered from constant headache. I used to live in Queens NY back then. My mother sent me to some Chinese place where I was left in a room and stuck with needles all over my arms and legs for about half an hour. I went there for a few monthes, I believe. Thew thing is, the headaches went away. So no, I don't think it's bullshit, but it has to be a serious place.
