3 New Stem Cell Discoveries in ONE day!

This shit is astounding! The breakthroughs are coming so fast it boggles the mind! In just ONE fucking day three new breakthroughs have occured:

Researchers repair spinal cord damage in rats using stem cells:
http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releas...-hsu061906.php

Scientists move on to turn stem cells into blood vessels:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0622074207.htm

And if things didn't get better, Scientists make somatic cells like embryonic stem cells:
http://asia.news.yahoo.com/060622/kyodo/d8ida7p80.html

WTF? I expect next week they'll say they can regrow organs in a few days or weeks!

Everything I posted above was considered impossible by science since day one. Yet scientists who stuck to the basics of biology knew damn well it wasn't impossible, just not reached for.

The medical miracles about to take place are going to change our lives and mankind like never before.

Red, if I had the money I would invest it like crazy in certain stem cell treatments and research.

Why? Because the patents for certain cures and treatments haven't been approved yet. The lab that comes up with how to change your height or cure baldness is gonna make a fortune until the end of fucking time.

The competition for stem cell treatment labs is so fierce the mainstream media has no clue. Even the U.S. embassadors are seeing the change and making warnings. If the U.S. doesn't catch up, we'll be left in the dust of treatments. Not only that but the costs are gonna drop like a rock too because of that competition and the ease of administering the treatments which basically consist of sticking a needle in you and taking cells out and putting them back in. Not only that but now they don't have to take cells out because if approved, the new Somatic stem cell breakthrough means that we won't need embryonic stem cells meaning we only need ONE culture of the same cells that could be an unending supply til the end of time.

Talk about cutting costs!

If you ever spent time around sick kids like at St. Jude's like I have you would celebrate ANY treatment that might rescue them. No kid should spend their lives in a hospital. It's a fucking shame.

Just think of the burden lifted when these treatments cure paralysis or the mental diseases of old age. Wheelchairs tossed on a pile and burned cause we don't need em' anymore. That will be a good day indeed.

Dude, the treatments are far less costly than the standard treatments. Problem is insurance companies aren't ready to handle the treatments yet. But I was on the phone with one of the top insurance guys in Calif and he told me that may not be the case in the not too distant future.

Average stem cell treatment hovers around $10k on upwards of $40k. With the explosion of clinics due them prices will drop quick.

but people also need to look at it like this.. The shit that they give us now for our illnesses is not a cure yet we pay through the roof for them, but with stem cells it will put an end to your illness. So even if it costs a little more for stem cell treatment it will most likely be a one time deal unlike the regular "medicine" that you have to keep taking for god knows how fucking long. In the long run you end up spending a lot more for so called "medicine" when you could have spent less to get rid of the shit for good.

Lets take something small like headaches. You can take tylenol, advil or whatever, but that's not a cure. All it does is numb your senses so you can't feel the pain and hopefully by the time the drugs wear off the headache will be gone. If not, you pop another pill and repeat the cycle.

Yngwie, exactly! 100% correct. Here are the figures:

The most expensive cardiac stem cell treatment is around $40k. A triple bypass heart operation is over $100k and my need multiples later on. Can we do the math here? $40k permanent cure vs $100k+ temporary cure.

You can get the cardiac stem cell treatment for as low as $10k in some places and the prices are dropping fast because the procedure is easy to do. Problem is most insurance companies won't cover it. If they did you would end cardiac problems on this planet by maybe 80%. It's cheaper for the insurane companies to do so. Why underwrite $100k when you can do the same for $10-$40k??? That's called SAVING MONEY.

As luck would have it I got off the phone last night with one of California's top insurance agents and underwriters. He's working with me now to petition and underwrite for stem cell treatments. He said the same thing that Ynwie mentioned.

In addition, Yngwie, I went strait to the top and asked the researchers about your medical condition you mentioned. The brightest news so far is that the neural tissue discoveries is the major hurdle people with your affliction were waiting for. Now it's a matter of the researchers tackling that affliction directly and from what I've read already some are because the challenge to solve the logistics to your illness will lead to multiple cures and treatments for other disorders. So there's definitely a bright light at the end of the tunnel thanks to the recent spinal cord recovery successes. It's now a matter of the labs to really pour it on. It may be that the current technology may be easily applied or a combination of techniques. Anyway, it could be a matter of months or short years to handle your condition. Let's keep an eye peeled at the main website and the raw science data sources.

Here's another major breakthrough that happened a few days ago. They just won't stop coming

http://www.stemcellnews.com/articles...and-organs.htm

That story shows how Scottish scientists discovered the secret as to why stem cells do the thing they do and the future of regrowing new organs. Basically a fountain of youth.

that's great news. I would love to be able to get rid of this disability. It has really out a damper on my life. 90% of what I'd like to do I can't due to this disabilty. I'm sure that others in my family would love getting rid of this. especially my dad and his brothers.

Yngwie, keep on your toes with this illness. Because it's neural the experts felt it was something tough to fight but with the latest news on neural tissue being regenerated it's just going to be a matter of sufferers putting pressure on researchers to forge ahead. I'm sure the main website for this malady will have updated news. I'm just lucky to have gotten hold of the best clinic so far. They see it as a big challenge but not impossible. Competition for the business of curing this disease is what's gonna happen.

It's already happening. Clinics outside of the U.S. are making money hand over fist and turning out people totally cured of several illnesses while our country drags it's feet. Now the patents are being held by foreigners even in Iran they're rushing to beat us with patents so they can force us into a corner. The U.S. politicians and press were too slow again. On the other hand we U.S. citizens who'll need those treatments won't have to worry about the U.S. companies hoarding all the patents in order to push the prices through the roof. So in this situation we fucked the big guys this time

Buwhaaaaahahaha!!! No sooner did Gator B say this than this story just hit the wires:

http://biz.yahoo.com/cnnm/060622/062...cell.html?.v=2

It's about how in the U.S. investors won't see profits from stem cells for 10 years because of the slow bullshit, debates, FDA regulations yadda yadda yadda. It says how foreign groups are the biggest fear as we don't know what they're doing or when they'll break off a new technique that puts the U.S. to shame.

Any of you like Gator B who saw that shit this story is validation you were dead on balls accurate.

Buwhaahahaha! This story shows exactly the politicians behind the bullshitting around getting stem cell research going in the U.S..

Believe it or not, Senate Majority Leader Frist is still, after a FUCKING YEAR still not addressing the issue AFTER the lawmakers passed it! WTF??? Meanwhile, the best scientists are LEAVING the U.S. to do research in countries that are moving ahead! Read this latest story:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/usnw/2006062... ation126_xml

I have a feeling that the only reason there're delays in getting stem cell research and applications done in the U.S. is because the lawmakers and their lobbyists are putting their money into foreign research to beat taxes so they'll stonewall U.S. efforts so that foreign companies they back and own get the lion's share.

here's a conspiracy theory for you. Maybe the conservatives are so against stem cell research is because it actually can cure disease and not just treat it.
The big business of pharmaceuticals, who is a major backer of the rep party doesnt want to see cures, but rather costly treatments. It's quite possible this is why there is such a "moral" dilema with stem cells--because by putting a moral and religious spin on it, it covers up who is actually stifeling the progress.

A story from Fox News? So basically conservatives are against stem cell research unless it can fix their worthless pricks

I never mentioned this because I thought it was so obvious. You are totally correct.

Believe it or not many people believe the same thing that's why it's so fucked up because the patents aren't owned by American companies making it extremely difficult for the pharmy's to jack their shit. They also realize that they too can benefit from these miraculous stem cell treatments and if they fuck it up they won't get cured. I don't care how greedy you are, if your ass is up for grabs you'll turn on your own mammy to get treatment.

The only conspiracy here is the fact that the foreign companies are making headway 5 years ahead of the U.S. I'm betting the stonewalling here isn't about pharmaceutical dollars but for foreign company establishment money to avoid taxes.

I just chatted with an expert in stem cell therapy. It's amazing what's coming down the line. In a year we won't believe what we'll be seeing. It's worth it to keep tabs on this story.
