i will never condone violence. murder is murder and what happened that day was a scar on not only islam but on humanity as a whole.

as for fundamentalists taking over long island...i dont think that'll ever happen. the second they would see the Hamptons and PDiddy they would decide life isnt that bad and the would pick up a bottle of cristol and party

My wife is Italian and Lebanese. My mother in law was born there, and she is the only member of her immediate who lives in the US - her three sisters and their family still lives there.

Certain races have certain chracteristics. The Lebanese have an odd patch of dark skin under their eyes. My mother in law has this, as does my wife. My daughter also has it. There's no mistake about it.

To the best of my knowledge, no one on my wife's side of the family is Muslim, although this doesn't matter much to me.

honestly, i've never really paid attention to any of his comments.

My point is that people are not defined what they think they are. They are defined by what they actually are. It's incredibly unlikely that Islam will ever take over in the US, but the only way to make sure is to fight to prevent it from happening. In my country, we allowed in over a million Muslim immigrants without requiring them to adhere to the norms of this country. Hence, we have a huge problem with Islam now. Terrorism is a larger problem than most people think and is rather common.

England has the IRA, France and Spain have the Basque to contend with. Sir Lanka also has terrorists (depending on your definition of terrorist), as do other countries.

I'm sorry, but somewhere along the line there are entire races that offically don't have a home. The Basque is great example. I believe they are spread out in areas that are now made up of France and Spain. I'm sorry, but France and Spain CANNOT give up space to allow them to form a country - because this land is already occupided and it would be unfair for any government to say "Sorry, this land now belongs to the Basque". I'm sorry, but the Basque will have to llearn to live amoung the French and the Spanish and do their best to keep their culture alive.

(If you ever get the chance to eat at a Basque resturant, I highly recomend it. You show up at a certain time and you all sit at the same table, and they bring you your meal - they only have one option on the menu, and that's what everyone gets. It's rather interesting really.)

Hey Adam, I wouldn't go as far as to preach what is being a "real muslim" to a follower. I don't have hatred for Muslims... Most muslims don't have hate for anyone else.

I know MANY Muslims that are very good people...

for one example, a guy that works at the 7-11 down the street (I know, it sounds cliche) right after 9/11 he was in a pretty bad state of mind.. he was getting harrassed and called names, one customer even spit on him.

I saw that he was looking down and was not his usual happy self so I asked him what was wrong, and he got really upset and talked about how he was not the one who did this to our country, and how he was here to work, and to get away from the bad things of his old country, and to make things better for his familys future. Over the last 6 years of living here, I've seen him go from not knowing much english to being able to carry on a pretty good conversation with me about life and how things are going for him.

Every time I go in he is always happy to see me and is very curtious to me, and he asks how work, family, and life has been treating me.. most clerks don't give two shits about you...

People need to stop reading into too much of the bullshit and propoganda that is out there about other cultures..

Theres bad shit all over the world, it's unfortunate that religion, greed, envy, and hate fuel our world in the manor that it does...

Fanatical Fundamentalists are the ones that have been brainwashed and led astray from the essential values of their religions. These are the ones that are the problems..

It's just like clasifying all pornographers as kiddy pornographers, even though it's a few rogue people, we all must do the same exact thing when no ones looking..
