I saw them about 2 months ago. For a bunch of guys that have been around forever, I thought they put on a pretty good show.

I just hope I'm able to run around at 62 as much as Jagger did during the show

i saw them in january in montreal, they put on a good show and i really enjoyed it but like others said, don't expect them to be as great as they are on their old albums.

Crazy, but they are still rocking. Plus their stadium/arena show props are pretty impressive usually.

I saw them back in 83 during an all day concert with George Thorogood, Heart, and someone else I can't remember. Thorogood outperformed everyone and I remember thinking back then that the Stones were past their prime. Those were the days, a $20 concert ticket and we were in the 4th row. No way in hell I would pay $150 to see the Stones now, they should've quit playing 20 years ago.

yeah yeah

get yer ya-ya's out and prepare to have a great fuckin' show

i've seen the stones i don't remember like four five time in major concert arenas and they have the ooomph to make it work

i WISH i'd seen them in those small bar surprise shows they pull sometimes - luck of the draw though...

but definitely worth it - they hit a stride there where they were or seemed past their prime - but dude if bo diddley and john lee hooker did it, so do the stones - shows still deliver

I saw them in Charlotte a few years back. Pretty good show, just very chaotic. When the stage extended into the audience the place turned into a madhouse. Lot's of pushing and shoving. Crazy stuff.

I have been to about 4 or 5 of their concerts since my first one back in '71 or '72.

They just get better and better, although I was not particularly impressed with their Superbowl halftime show.

Well, not too sure about that.
Among the tops you would have to include:

Emerson, Lake and Palmer
Jethro Tull
The Who

Have seen most of their tours for the last 25-30 years. Were they better way back then? Of course, but who wasn't?
If you're a fan, then go. You won't be sorry.

Not too sure I agree with that. Like I said, I first saw them in 71 or 72 (Stevie Wonder was the lead act), and I think the Voodoo Lounge Tour and the benefit concert I saw them at a couple years ago were a lot better.

Perhaps because they had more music.

eye of the beholder, i guess...i thought the best i've seen was the 1981 tour (after they released Tattoo You), so I guess they got better (in my eyes) from the 1975 show (first time I saw them) --- but i thought that after that, they never *quite* measured up to '81. I really liked the Bridges to Babylon show more than, for example, the one this summer, so it's really hard to generalize, i guess. it also has to do with where you see them and whether they're "on" any particular night too - a couple of years ago, all i could think during the show was "when is this going to end?" but that was largely because it was at the SD Sports Arena, one of the worst venues in the western hemisphere - and my feelings about the '75 show may be influenced by the fact that i saw them at the old Boston Garden, which also had terrible acoustics.
my bottom line, like i said before - if you really like them and have never seen them, go. you won't be disappointed.

You should probably kill yourself now, or go fly to wherever they are playing next.
