ever been to a rolling stone concert?
they will be in athens this year. so i figured i could do this trip... is it worth it.. i like their music!:thumbsup
ask baddog - he had front row seats in LA
yeah I saw them on my 21st birthday...they put on a pretty good show...that was 15 years ago though so I couldn't really tell you what the performance would be like now.
Yeah, 25 years ago.
The Rolling Stones are the greatest LIVE rock-n-roll band in the world!
they rock
I saw them about 2 months ago. For a bunch of guys that have been around forever, I thought they put on a pretty good show.
I just hope I'm able to run around at 62 as much as Jagger did during the show :thumbsup |
i saw them in january in montreal, they put on a good show and i really enjoyed it but like others said, don't expect them to be as great as they are on their old albums.
Crazy, but they are still rocking. Plus their stadium/arena show props are pretty impressive usually.
I saw them back in 83 during an all day concert with George Thorogood, Heart, and someone else I can't remember. Thorogood outperformed everyone and I remember thinking back then that the Stones were past their prime. Those were the days, a $20 concert ticket and we were in the 4th row. No way in hell I would pay $150 to see the Stones now, they should've quit playing 20 years ago.
wtf im looking at some sites with tickets like 420 euros a ticket
yeah yeah
get yer ya-ya's out and prepare to have a great fuckin' show i've seen the stones i don't remember like four five time in major concert arenas and they have the ooomph to make it work i WISH i'd seen them in those small bar surprise shows they pull sometimes - luck of the draw though... but definitely worth it - they hit a stride there where they were or seemed past their prime - but dude if bo diddley and john lee hooker did it, so do the stones - shows still deliver |
I saw them in Charlotte a few years back. Pretty good show, just very chaotic. When the stage extended into the audience the place turned into a madhouse. Lot's of pushing and shoving. Crazy stuff.
I have been to about 4 or 5 of their concerts since my first one back in '71 or '72.
They just get better and better, although I was not particularly impressed with their Superbowl halftime show. |

Well, not too sure about that. Among the tops you would have to include: Emerson, Lake and Palmer Jethro Tull The Who |
Have seen most of their tours for the last 25-30 years. Were they better way back then? Of course, but who wasn't?
If you're a fan, then go. You won't be sorry. |
Couple years back I saw them in Amsterdam.. pretty good show :thumbsup
I like em but haven't seen them yet. Wouldn't mind though..

I have seen them two years ago in my home town ROTTERDAM in HOLLAND!!!
It was in the greatest stadium in Holland, STADION FEIJENOORD! The atmosphere was wicked and their music is the best there is!! |
I feel bad coz I haven't not seen them live
