What happen to freedom of speech?

Freedom of expression is one of the most fundamental rights that individuals enjoy. It is fundamental to the existence of democracy and the respect of human dignity. It is also one of the most dangerous rights, because freedom of expression means the freedom to express one's discontent with the status quo and the desire to change it. As such, it is one of the most threatened rights, with governments - and even human rights groups - all over the world constantly trying to curtail it.

The United States, probably like no other nation, has recognized the importance of freedom of expression to safeguard democracy and grow as a nation. However, this does not mean there are no efforts to try to curtail it. The thing is that if someone would put a nice, well-thought out thread with reasons why Headless should not be banned, it would probably work. Advocating the murder of a mod is probably not the best way to make it happen.

I've done that and you are right, I had to write a 4 page report to why I think this guy would kill me and that he is not just bullshitting me.. the cop said to me even if I told him right now that I want to kill him, there is nothing he can do because he knows I am full of shit, even if I really wanted to, he would need to prove that I am capable and intent to do so.

I had this guy recorded phone converstations of violence screaming of how his life plan is to revenge on me, still wasnt enough for the cops to do anything.

to this day thou, if this guy were to ever show up at my house or come face to face to me, his 2 years of talking crap made me more than ever prepared.
