Howcome we (US) are not allowed to make $ from gambling sites?

Howcome we (US) are not allowed to make $ from gambling sites? What kind of a stupid rule is that? I bet if we were involved in the gambling market it would be about 100x times bigger than it is right now! And we would dominate it too!

I hope they change this ridiculous rule soon.

What do you mean? Are you saying it is illegal to be an affiliate of a gambling site? Or that they aren't allowed in the US?

Thats right! It is illegal to make anykind of $ from gambling if you are in the US. Forget about making you're own website.

It is illegal in US to advertise gambling sites. That's why the TV ads for the poker sites changed to .net and they call it a free poker school. Pretty shitty and he is right, lots more money in gambling than pr0n.

Like there's not enough land based casino gambling addicts with destroyed families, you want to bring that into every home? All casino softwares are rigged to give the house advantage, so it's a complete waste of money to gamble against a 'virtual dealer'.

Addicts are always thinking about gambing. When they are online they think about it. All you have to do is feed their addiction and milk the $ right out of their hands.

Obiously the house always wins. We are not here to make them $, we are here to make ourself $.

Just an stupid example here.

Owning a gambling is like being a drug dealer. Do you see a drug dealer that says "damn dude, i have fucking too much rock - i cant sell them all!".

Fuck no, almost all of his coustomer are addicted. His clients grow every day and they buy from him every week. Some want to quit but they cant.

(i said it was a stupid example, i cant compare it to anything elce)

I would have absolutely no problem sleeping at night. It is not my falt that they dont have the will power to quit. Im just providing them a medium.

Obiously they are addicted, if they dont get it from me they will go gamble some where elce. So might as well be me making the $.

Some years ago I would consider myself an addict, but not now. I played in alot of casinos some years back, and yes I came close to bankruptcy. Now I just think that's the stupidiest and quickest way to make your wallet lighter and don't care about it. But looks like that shit is gonna haunt me for the rest of my life.

Porn is also addictive, that is why i choose to be an adult webmaster. But it does not even come close to gambling addiction.

And it's not easy to spend $1000.00 in one night in porn sites (unless it's live cams). Point is, porn does less damage to the surfer than casinos.

That is how these casinos pull you ex addicts back in. I bet you get like these things in (snail)mail that says you get certain amound of free time (or $) in a casino. All they want you to do is get you back playing just ONE time. After that you are fucked up again and will keep going back.

Start selling those p2p ads packages for $3000 and you'll get there quick. Of course, you would have to have the traffic to back up your mouth on the subject.

i beleive the WTO (world trade organization) has told the US that it needs to allow gambling customers from the US - the US is trying to figure out how to appeal.

You know, with all of the webcam companies popping up I thought people would start to figure this out. Do you see the competition? Do you see the insane payouts? Do you see the stories of people making $2000 or more a month from ONE customer they referred years ago?

Webcams span every niche, always have fresh content, and bill by the minute. People spend THOUSANDS a month regularly. I promote webcam / dating type sites exclusively as they outperform regular pay per join sites 100 times over.

The casino always wins too ...

The boats a bit late on Poker. Perhaps there's still some room for competition but not like 2 years ago.

Setup will run you $30k-$50k min. Promotion? Very expensive and high competition.

If PartyPoker is willing to pay over $150 for a customer acquisition what do you think a new, untested, unbranded site will have to pay? $300+ is my guess.

Years ago I sat on the Int'l Gaming Council when it was legal in the US
to operate a casino on the internet and I can tell you it wasn't Vegas that got it banned.

It was the Senators from MO, MI, NJ and Nevada. They sponsored a law that made it illegal to use any interstate communications device to place bets that were a game of chance.

The case of USLotto.com (An Indian Casino in Idaho) went to the Supreme Court
and the Casino lost.

The bottom line is it's illegal for any US Citizen to use any phone, computer or device that moves over state lines to place bets even if the casino is not in the USA.
