Anyone had a weird MySpace experience?

Tell me if you think I?m being played or I?m just too cynical.

I?ve got a girl that hit me up a long time ago. She seemed like a nice intelligent civilian girl from Canada. She said that she graduated from Harvard receiving her Master?s degree in Nursing. We?ve talked briefly small chit chat, but never really connected. A few months later I saw that she was turning 30, so I wished her a Happy Birthday.

Well, right after that all of a sudden I?m getting the strangest emails from her.

Look at that!! You've made it to the top of my list!!! I figure if your in the top eight I'll see your name when I log on and we'll keep in touch more... and see... its working! Hope you have a wonderful day and we are going to have to chat somtime. I need a good "girl talk". Things in my life are not going very well right now. Ok, they are going REALLY REALLY REALLY bad right now. Quick sum up... I'm pregnant... Meanwhile I was getting bombarded by guys who want to become my "friend" - and still am getting these invitations, many months later. Probably looking for free phone sex and escort. It turned out the way he realized that we were soul mates is he found my vanilla yahoo ID, a string of cryptic letters, and realized that I was THE ONE.
