I was yahoo'd by some guy who was convinced we were soul mates. He talked me into registering for myspace and posting a pic of my long hair only, in order to view his profile. I got to his page, where he's posted pics of himself, his wife, his kids, and inlaws, and his blog, where he was writing about how his wife doesn't turn him on.
Meanwhile I was getting bombarded by guys who want to become my "friend" - and still am getting these invitations, many months later. Probably looking for free phone sex and escort.
It turned out the way he realized that we were soul mates is he found my vanilla yahoo ID, a string of cryptic letters, and realized that I was THE ONE. I put him on permanent ignore, but he still sends my myspace profile religious propaganda and urban legends urging me to send spam for a worthy cause.
Ew.
