Darren is my competition. I hate the guy because his affiliates are loyal, and he has a great program going. I like him personally - when I met him I was impressed with his professionalism.

However I would never release an email like that to affiliates for any reason. Just because it goes against the acceptable grain of what to do when you let someone go.

Not saying it's unprofessional or uncalled for, just saying I would never send something of that nature to anyone.

KB does business by jumping into former company threads and spamming his shit. Less professional than this press release we are discussing right now.

There have been several replies in the other thread where it's obvious that people have had problems with this guy. We can only wonder at how much damage he has really done to the company.

I think a more tactfully worded press release would have been just as effective, perhaps inviting people who have had "communication issues" (cough) with their previous employee to contact their new one.

Too late now, their foot is bleeding... let's hope they don't choke on the blood...

Not only is MensNiche not going to be able to find employees, but I don't think affiliates would want to work with asshats like these either.

I couldn't agree with this statement more. It's VERY obvious that this company isn't being run by business professionals.....

MensNiche are blaming their inability to properly manage a company on one guy.

MesnNiche should have supervised their employee. Instead, they relied on the guy to do 100% of their work and are now crying because things went the wrong way.

It's their own fault, and them whining the way they are is immature to say the least.

I haven't seen Scott post in the MN threads regarding his firing. Perhaps he is getting himself a good lawyer and will file a wrongful termination lawsuit (and possibly a defamation lawsuit, on the grounds that MN is deliberately making it difficult for him to seek other employment in the industry), in which case Scott keeping his mouth shut is a smart idea.

I'm appalled at the management of MN for sending out a press release like that. Any Management course will teach you to not talk about personnel issues publicly, especially not terminations, even if you are sure the firing is justified.

You are only opening yourself up to a lawsuit, and all that the plaintiff has to show is that you are wrong on one point, and your whole case could be sunk. I guess if Scott walks away with a few million dollars in a settlement that you will be more careful next time.

I hate it when FagM makes a post that I have to agree with.

I wonder what the reaction would have been if Scott made a similar "press release" about him leaving MN and slammed them like he did them.

Very unprofessional

Well, some of you are simply playing idiots.

But as speaking about company, with all new improvements to websites, improved conversions and so forth, I am 100% sure the company will be one of the best in the market for many years to come. And so far it is number one in my sponsor list and here to stay!

While I agree that the press release wasn't well handled I do want to chime in and say that MN are good people. Good people can make mistakes now and then.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing???

MensNiche has always been passionate about our affiliates being the driving force behind the business.

Perhaps in this case I did put the protection and best interests of our affiliates over professionalism. Passion can be a dangerous emotion ? but it is also a quality that has kept us ahead of the game, and always will. We have a very family orientated approach to our affiliate members and staff alike, based on trust, respect and hard work, in this case all three foundations were put in jeopardy.

The announcement was a reflection of MensNiche?s openness and honesty, both within the industry and among our affiliate partners. I can see how our passion for the business and respect for our affiliates may be taken as bitterness towards the ex-affiliate manager.

If anyone?s opinion is tainted by this approach, or felt neglected by us in the past - get with THE program - Mensniche?s proof is in a very juicy pudding.

Give us 5% of your trust and confidence - we?ll earn the other 95 very quickly indeed

The release was beyond low class that you guys did. If I was him I'd be consulting with an attorney....

I can see stating that the person left to "pursure new challenges" or something else similar when posting to public forums not the public flogging you held for him.

Bad Call and really poor judgement... it screams immature children at the helm of a biz.
