The government also appealed those charges, so he's in the same boat he was years ago. I was surprised they did that too, because it seems like obsenity would be struck down, and set precident even higher up the federal court food chain... but seeing how Bush is stacking the Supreme Court it makes much more sense now.

I agree with you somewhat. Vague obsenity charges are very scary but vague obsenity charges AND a porn tax would be worse.
