Lighten up.

IwantChix: You say domestic motors are not reliable, not one bit?

I've put over 100,000 Kilometers total on two LS1 engines. The only problem I ever had with either car was a bad gas gauge and a dead battery in the Corvette. Otherwise, no problems at all, and I drove my cars hard.

Now please tell me about your personal experience with high kilometers on new domestic V8 engines.

Some say it's chinese and japanese crap. Well, China only makes "Smart Car" as far as I know.

Secondly. While Honda and Toyota may be Japanese owned companies the cars you buy in north america are as american as your dodge rams and hummers and even more so. Let me explain for those who have way too much pride and heritage (it's a car, an object cannot have heritage btw).

A Honda Civic is more american than most "American" vehicles on the road today.

Practically the entire Honda and even Toyota lines are all Engineered and manufactured in Canada and the US. the European Honda division is Japanese engineered though.

90% of American vehicles use parts that were asembled and engineered in South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, Japan, China and Malaysia. Even the design teams and engineering teams of the concept vehicles created before mass production are foreigners living in the United States and in Canada or the designs are import inspired and/or engineered through outsources engineering firms owner and/or lcoated offshore.

So take your "Good ol american muscle and heritage" and shove it up your ass people.

A car is a fucking car. Just because a car is a Honda does not mean it's rice.

This is the truth :2 cents:
