yeah, i wanted to dry out this new radiator shroud thing i have been hearing all about, the greddy one just happened to be the cheapest. honestly i don't notice any difference in performance, but i figured, what the hell, might as well try it.

i am still trying to figure out what real parts i can add to my car without voiding the factory warranty.

but i am pretty much just gonna say fuck a warranty i think. if parts break, it's just another exscuse for me to get better ones.

let's see pics of the turd you drive.

a new limited slip will take care of that second gear problem.

and my car will still be almost half the price of the z06, even after you calculate all the other parts.

it's not innefficient, no one ever said it was.

not to mention radiator shrouds are made for most cars american and import.

like i said, i don't really notice anything different, but it was cheap and i thought i would give it a shot.

maybe you should trying reading up on your opinion before spouting jibberish?

or more like an IMPROVEMENT

noun.

1. The act of making better or the condition of being made better: amelioration, amendment, betterment, melioration, upgrade. See better/worse.
2. Steady improvement, as of an individual or a society: amelioration, betterment, development, melioration, progress. See better/worse.

Prolonged periods of track use results in increased engine temperatures. But you wouldn't know anything about prolonged track outings, because your car probably handles like ass.

No they have stopped

Sales of the Mustang are up 47 percent through the end of May over what they were last year before the redesign. The redesigned car is selling better than Chrysler's popular 300 sedan. It also is outselling 13 brands, including Scion, Saturn, Mercedes-Benz and Subaru.

Omg you nerds are still arguing about muscle cars versus ricer cars versus whatever??

Life is more than a 1/4 mile stretch of road ladies. From glancing at the posts, many of you need much more experience behind the wheel of current L-cars, F-cars, and P-cars before annointing your particular "dream" car as King of the World. :)

As passionate as all of these 1/4 mile Vin Diesel wanna-bes are about whatever garbage car they're "loyal" to, if I dropped a "slow" F430, or Gallardo, or other exotic in front of them and asked them to trade cars, they'd all do it in a heart beat.

Come back and share your thoughts after you've driven/owned one. Then I'll listen.

Here's what makes me laugh about people knocking imports.

Some say it's chinese and japanese crap. Well, China only makes "Smart Car" as far as I know.

Secondly. While Honda and Toyota may be Japanese owned companies the cars you buy in north america are as american as your dodge rams and hummers and even more so. Let me explain for those who have way too much pride and heritage (it's a car, an object cannot have heritage btw).

A Honda Civic is more american than most "American" vehicles on the road today.

Practically the entire Honda and even Toyota lines are all Engineered and manufactured in Canada and the US. the European Honda division is Japanese engineered though.

90% of American vehicles use parts that were asembled and engineered in South Korea, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, Japan, China and Malaysia. Even the design teams and engineering teams of the concept vehicles created before mass production are foreigners living in the United States and in Canada or the designs are import inspired and/or engineered through outsources engineering firms owner and/or lcoated offshore.

So take your "Good ol american muscle and heritage" and shove it up your ass people.

A car is a fucking car. Just because a car is a Honda does not mean it's rice.

Mako 09-15-2005 03:38 PM

Top Gear test results are done in varying weather conditions, and according to Jeremy Clarkson himself "should not be used to compare the cars beyond entertainment purposes". Sorry you took those seriously, it's not your fault.

However, all hope isn't lost. Here are a few test results that were performed in a controlled environment by pro drivers, since you seem to like that sort of thing, that show just how competent a Gallardo is.

Which of course, you wouldn't know, because you haven't driven one. You're an armchair benchracer. I'm not. :)

and the gallardo wasn't an e gear.

so i really don't see how anything you just showed me is relavant.

Anyone else want to play Benchracer and run their mouth about cars they've never driven? Hmmm? Anyone out there?

Moral of the story: DON'T ASSUME. And don't form your opinions from "a magazine". Drive the cars in real life, then flap your gums.

Wow, and would you look at that .. Both the C5Z06 and C6Z51 did it faster than the Evo. Around a track too! Never mind what professional drivers show as their results, I'm more inclined to believe someone who saw an Evo beat a corvette one time. :winkwink:

i wanna see those.

toss in a gfy shirt just for fun.

Not going to bite, my current cars are a 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe, and a 2001 NSX-T. I participate in local events with several exotic car clubs, and have driven dozens of cars on track at speed, including every Lamborghini and Ferrari currently made, with the exception of the F430, which I'm due to drive at our next one.

Again: Don't comment about cars until you've personally driven them. Anything else is just an uninformed guy talking out of his ass, and you don't want to be him. Be informed. Use your head.

It's still not going to handle any better than a Z06. :winkwink:

and the gallardo wasn't an e gear.

so i really don't see how anything you just showed me is relavant.

There you go again...

The Gallardo was an e-Gear model, driven by SportAuto last year. How do I know? The owner of the car is a member at www.lambo-power.com, which is a message board I moderate, lol.

I never made any claim about any "FQ 400", and my results are simply listed in order. I included the EVO 9 because it's a solid car.

Lighten up.
