Agassi got 0wn3d

I like Agassi, think its a great effort to see him still playing at 35. But buddy, Federer 0wn3d you yesterday in the US open tennis championship. You shoulda went out when you were on top like Seinfeld.

R.Federer 6 2 7 6
A.Agassi 3 6 6 1

you must have missed the match. The third set went to a tie breaker. He collasped in that tie brekaer but it could have gone either way up to then.

Agassi played quite well and fought hard. That was far from being owned.

Federer is fuckin ridiculous and could eventually go down as the greatest male tennis player ever. At his age it was amazing that Agassi pushed Federer as far as he did.

He played his heart out, it was a great match up and very exciting to watch, esp that ace near the end before the final downward spiral. Both were an inspriation to watch!

I am happy to read that there was a more positive side to the match. Agassi passed out during the match?

Agassi played some of his best tennis ever in the second set of this match. The quality of play in the third set was at times brilliant from both sides, and I too said "whoever wins this tie-break will take the match".

Federer is just too good to beat in 5 sets though, so when Agassi lost that tie-break I don't blame him for giving up. He had already played his best game and since he didn't get the third set there was just NO chance of winning that match.

Agassi is still one of the greatest players ever in my opinion, and like someone said Federer could become THE biggest name in tennis history - he has 7-8 years left in the top ten if he continues to play well.

lol. Agassi lost to the best tennis player in the world at the finals of a grand slam at 35. its just federer thats too good. Agassi still makes 28m$ a year, plus 40m$ next year, I dont think you can call that owned. More money that federer could ever make in the same time.

Agassi is great but I of course, age factor is still the one that dictates the fight.

No matter what happens Agassi will still be Agassi. He had proven so much throughout his career.
