A friend gave me a very interesting and and I find to be true theory about guy/girl friendships.
If you can see yourself giving head to your friend, then there is an underlying sexual attraction. Doesnt mean that if you can imagine giving a friend head that you are secretly in love with them, but just that its not entirely out of the question. So if you girl has a lot of guy friends ask her if she can see herself giving head to any of them, if its a no, then its a real friendship, if its a yes, then there is some sexual shit (perhaps almost none at all, but still more than 0) going on.

I guess I would say it's different if she is going out of her way to make new guy friends or if she is only hanging out with guys. I know myself I would be upset if my guy said you can't hang out with any of your male friends. If she loves you she isn't going to cross that line with them. ive been with my man for 6 yrs now.
the first 4 yrs, HELL NO i couldnt have guy friends (although i did have one guy friend that was like a brother to me & he was friends with both of us so it was cool), and he couldnt have female friends either. BUT, we talked alot of shit over, we trust each other, we ARE human so we're gonna flirt from time to time, but the trust is there on both parts. if i wanna go out for the night, locally or 2 hours away, i just tell him. he trusts me, rightfully so, not to do anything. do i flirt? oh god ya! he knows i do, im a big flirt by nature. does he know that i dance with other guys at clubs sometimes? nope. he doesnt need to know. i can take care of myself if a situation comes up (a dude grabbing my ass, tryin to kiss me, etc). all he needs to know is that im coming home to him, as faithful as i was when i left the house. period. he goes and 'plays cards with the boys' every once and while. is he there playing cards for the 12 hours hes gone? probably not. do i care if hes a strip club with the boys throwin some bucks at girlies in thongs? nope. hell, i've gone with him a few times ;) if you dont give each other space & breathing room in a relationship, you're going to end up killing each other. if you cant trust each other, theres deeper issues that you two need to deal with. i refuse to give up all of my life & fun just because im in a relationship. fuck that. im 24 with no kids and not married. let me live!

I agree with Baba though. I think that for a relationship to really work, each person needs to have their "own life". Every good marriage I know of is exactly like that.
