Are You On The DOJ's Newly Aquired 'Target' List?

Its starting to sound like the FSC just handed the government a list of their members.

From this point on, that list is going to be called the 'known target list'

Thanks guys

Regards,

Lee

Fake drama. It is a major violation of Federal law for FSC to hand over its member list to the DOJ. You are talking out of your ass.

So how can the FSC give their members protection under this agreement they have made without the US government knowing WHO their members are? Think about it Sparky

Lee

All a member would need to do is state membership at the moment of inspection. The DOJ is still free to inspect, they just can't act on it if the injunction is filed in favor. The government could theoretically assemble a list by visiting each and every webmaster, but they don't have the resources to do so.

If you write your legal expenses off on your taxes, the government already has that information.

The Bush administration is not Acacia. They have already shown they are willing to break laws to get what they want. I doubt they care about the FSC mailing list.

Which is why being a member will not protect you. If they succeed in getting a TRO, the laws will not be enforced for anyone, not just members of the FSC.

Then how will the DOJ know if you are a member of the FSC coalition and free from prosecution then?

No..they would NOT be able to "still inspect" under the injunction. Part of the injunction is "no unreasonable search and seizure."
