I don't know what the kids did to get him that mad but if anyone ever grabbed my kid like that he'd be getting his ass kicked the next time he stopped at my house .... if a kid is a problem the driver can have him removed from the bus .... that guy needs his ass handed to him ..

i tell ya what ..even if my son was just on that bus and saw that ..i'd give him a beatin .. the kid upfront looked scared .. not cool

I just watched that tape a few times, and I'm even more sympathetic to the driver. What he did was wrong, but those kids were little fucking devils, and provoked him all the way through. And we watched like 20 seconds. Imagine if that shit was going on for an hour or so before that tape.

No doubt the driver has to lose his job, but I feel for the guy. Raised with respect but given none for a shitty job driving little devils around.

This happened local to me so saw alot more of it on the news. The kids verbally provoked him but he got physical first. Which was wrong. Sure the kids were shits but you are an adult you should be able to control yourself. Thats a job I couldnt do tho cuase id probably snap the same lol. The bus driver definately has some tention there though. But if you gotta deal with these kids each day and they act like that, it will be a hassle to keep calm.

The guy showed no self control and only made the situation worse..

He had already called the cops , he should have locked the bus and stepped outside. The kid would be suspended from the bus and most likely get a good belt whipping from his father ( because now the kid has to have rides to school everyday )..

It's not in his job description to hit anyone. Regardless if the kids were out of control there were other measures that he could have taken. He didn't even have to get up from his seat, he could have radio'd the police etc. Granted, what the kids did was wrong, however, the driver had no right to raise his hand to anyone let alone land.

Watching everyones responses seems to point out the problem... THere is one side saying the kid derserved it and the other side says its wrong and the police should have been called to deal with it and parents, etc...

well thats exactly the problem, kids will always test their limits so they can find boundries, you can notice that since the society we live in is so relient on law enforcement and the courts for whats right and wrong(part of the problem in society that they need their government to babysit morality and ethics). The kids obviously had a behavior problem that was not dealt with by the parents, school, peers, teachers, etc... because most likely the parents are the same way, the parents work too much to care about their kids, always worried about money, etc... its really not *one* thing, is the whole circle(i.e. village) that is not raising the chile properly... Ever see schools require students to learn how to live in society? no? exactly... the most important things that should be mandatory in school are not taught, because the elite don't want smart people... oh and were all greedy selfish bastards and don't care about our own societys children.

ever since our society started becoming anti-social this shit started happening (my personal theory). most likely from the proganda causing us to always be fearful of law enforcement, all ties into the soon to be police state/terrorism shit... as soon as the radical christian republicans die then we can make some progress... or just destroy the idea of religion.

Sorry, but I must utterly disagree with you on this. I have found EXACTLY the opposite. The propaganda has been more along the lines of "Kids rights" and F$@^ authority. This has been going on since the 60s.

The issue of terrorism, etc... has only come up in the last 3 years... not a factor with kids like this. This stems from the TOTAL changes that occured in this socioty starting in the late 60s. I'm old enough to have lived through the change.

Instead, parents have tried to be SO liberal with their kids behavior, taught them NOT to respect authority, and NOT to respect conventional politeness, customs, etc.... starting in the 70s and 80s, encouraged by sort headed child counselors that have thrown away any real respect for adults, and rules. There is NO "fear of police" like there was when I was a kid, when I was a child you were taught NOT to talk like these kids were talking to that driver.

This is a 30 year old problem.... you can't pin it on the the present administration, sorry...

This is true, many liberals thought we could do away with physical reinforcement of certain basic rules regarding how one treats others in polite society. In many cases, setting the proper example is enough to raise well-disciplined children and there's a lot to be said for not hitting your kids.

However, many of us are coming back to the 'beat his ass when he needs it' philosophy. Particularly when the parents are even more ill-behaved than the children and just as clueless. Someone has to put the smack down somewhere.

THere is one side saying the kid derserved it and the other side says its wrong and the police should have been called to deal with it and parents, etc... well thats exactly the problem, kids will always test their limits so they can find boundries, you can notice that since the society we live in is so relient on law enforcement and the courts for whats right and wrong(part of the problem in society that they need their government to babysit morality and ethics). The kids obviously had a behavior problem that was not dealt with by the parents, school, peers, teachers, etc... because most likely the parents are the same way, the parents work too much to care about their kids, always worried about money, etc... its really not one thing, is the whole circle(i.e. village) that is not raising the chile properly... Ever see schools require students to learn how to live in society? no? exactly... the most important things that should be mandatory in school are not taught, because the elite don't want smart people... oh and were all greedy selfish bastards and don't care about our own societys children. ever since our society started becoming anti-social this shit started happening (my personal theory). most likely from the proganda causing us to always be fearful of law enforcement, all ties into the soon to be police state/terrorism shit... as soon as the radical christian republicans die then we can make some progress... or just destroy the idea of religion. ps. i have a talent for getting deep ;-)
