The bus driver definately has some tention there though. But if you gotta deal with these kids each day and they act like that, it will be a hassle to keep calm.

You dont EVER hit a kid unless its your kid.. ( or self defense )..
The guy showed no self control and only made the situation worse..
He had already called the cops , he should have locked the bus and stepped outside. The kid would be suspended from the bus and most likely get a good belt whipping from his father ( because now the kid has to have rides to school everyday )..
Hindsight is 20/20 though..
