I dont know about checks bouncing because I just started sending to them last week.

Got a $2000 check coming, so we'll see what happens.

I emailed support twice about different issues, with no response at all.

I dont think I trust them much,

Our upcoming projects include a web personals site similar to ifriends, but that is months away.

you're right, depends on who you send the email to. but it mostly depends on who YOU are. i have emailed support at least a dozen times over the last two months about issues that are NOT covered in the faq or anywhere else on their site, yet i NEVER receive a response. EVER. yet you, pk, and others i know of can email support or al or anyone else down there & get a response within a few minutes or hours. i know life isnt fair, but that is just no way to run a business. are my signups not as important as yours?

and there are no other published email addresses for webmasters other than support@ so how does one become so important that they actually get another email address to send to? is it volume? is it time? maybe in 10 years when im sending 1000 signups a day, maybe THEN i'll be worthy of a response from the almighty gods at webpower. how dare i disturb them before then.

again,it has nothing to do with how many signups, because i know people who make more then PK using clickcash and they can never get an email response back, they have some kind of inside deals with them is the thing
yeah,if you have an email address that actually gets a response why dont you give it out? we all deserve an answer, this hearsay shit is getting old,if im getting screwed for sure then i want to at least have a right to run my mouth if there is a problem and they are fixing it then maybe they should release a statement and say something happened and it will be fixed instead of sending half ass lackeys to explain it for them,no offence PK

Doesn't anyone think it strange that somebody from CC hasn't bothered to come in here and make such a statement?

Earlier in this thread somebody mentioned a problem with a CCBill check - almost instantly someone from CCBill was here explaining the situation.

On the other hand we have CC taking bad press on boards all over the place and no-one with any official standing appears to comment.

Last night I signed up with another webcam sponsor who has a much more conservative business model. I emailed them with a question in the early hours of the morning their time - I had a reply within 30 minutes from a real person.

Believe me.. I'm anything but half-assed. There's a whole ass back there (twisting to look behind me). My sole reason for ever posting in this thread was because I had been asked by several webmasters about the issue.

In regards to an official statement... if you read page two of this thread someone posted a copy of a statement by Louann from Ifriends which is the most official thing I've seen to this point.

Yes, yes... I appreciate everyone's posts too, but I'm still miffed that:
  • I haven't heard back from ClickCash.
  • ClickCash hasn't made a public attempt to address this and many other recent problems with their service.

Until at least one of these issues is addressed, I'll remain upset, resentful, and vindictive.

Fro

well my checks arent nearly as big as anyone of yours, but... I can say that i think they shave traffic. last thursday i went to hit refresh on the window i had my account loaded in, and i noticed that the hits for wednesday and tuesday had changed. now i did it again out of curiosity and it happened again, till about 5:30pm those other 2 days had changed, just out of curiosity anyone else notice this and would have an idea why those hits registerd late, and if they lost hits like this what about sales?
i had about 3k hits and 15 sales on one day and 6k hits and 6 sales that doesnt sound right at all

To be honest, when ClickCash's system appeared to be working properly (i.e. no server errors, etc.), their stats were mostly in line with what I run on my end. Any traffic I passed to ClickCash first went through AdCycle. I would estimate that ClickCash logged approximately 90% of the traffic. That other 10% could be attributable to closed windows, back buttons, and so on.

However, signups were awfully erratic on this regular stream of traffic. One could certainly take exception to that, if such swings in conversion ratios were attributable to ClickCash's error.

Hey, no problem!

AdCycle is a great choice if your programs will generate less than 2-3 million impressons per month. This limit is something I seem to remember from the AdCycle support pages. I do know that AdCycle had no problem with the ~100,000 impression days I threw at it.

You can't beat the price either. It's a super product.

You should ALWAYS be using some sort of tracking system in order to determine click through ratios. It helps you to spot ineffective banners/links and expose questionable sponsors. For example, I haven't yet found an honest per click program because of the data I've generated with AdCycle. By "honest," I mean a sponsor that reports even 50% of what I send it.

I cant explain why some of you get replies and some dont. I always send email to Al ([email protected]) and I'm always calm and civil in messages, meaning i'm not swearing every other words and I'm not accusing them of this or that or telling them they suck etc. Usualy I get very prompt and curteous responses. On the rare occasion that i dont get a reply, i just resend the message with a note that i didnt get a reply the first time.

Hi everyone. I just found this board today. I'm not as big a fish with iFriends/ClickCash as most of you seem to be, but yes, I've had my share of problems as well. It started for me around the new year... did the same thing happen to everyone else's conversion ratios? Here's what I got, on the same type/volume of traffic:

(week of 12/23/01 to 12/29/01)
Conversion Ratio: ( 1:140 )

(week of 12/30/01 to 01/05/02)
Conversion Ratio: ( 1:293 )

(week of 01/06/02 to 01/12/02)
Conversion Ratio: ( 1:557 )

(week of 01/13/02 to 01/19/02)
Conversion Ratio: ( 0:45 )

Apart from the whole boucing check thing, that ratio is utterly ridiculous, and makes no sense whatsoever I've emailed [email protected] 3 times over the past weeks, with, you guessed it, zero response.

Hey Dave,

how is it going. Was nice meeting you at the Miami-Show.
Why don't you just send some test traffic to people you can trust and know peronally from face to face at shows and parties ? us :-)

The only thing bouncing with www.go4livecam.com are our live cam girl's tits. ( o Y o ) or (oYo)

Killer convertions and residual income on all sponsored members, cam models and webmasters.

Just click on the left menu bar item "Make Money", and go from there. They work with the same "amateurs at home" theme, but they pay webmasters a commission of sales as opposed to per free sign-up, plus all recurring. Could be better $ in the long run than ClickCash, since your sign-ups stay with you for life. Seems like a more reliable way to pay webmasters too, since there's always a sale to draw the commissions from. I'm not surprised that ClickCash couldn't keep up with paying on free sign-ups, since how many people sign up for free but then never use their service?

I can't speculate on what will happen with Go For Live Cam since it's way too early, but it's worth a shot, I think, in light of all the ClickCash problems. And, they also have German speaking camhosts so you don't lose some of your foreign traffic.
Hi Tayloryum,

great to see our webmasters active on the boards as well. Always good to network.
Your Paycheck for the january 15th paycut is on its way. And most likely it wont bounce LOL
We just switched to automated check printing software and all. Should work just excellent to handle the upcoming bulk of checks.
Signup are just crazy and the system 26x sales in the last 12 days. Our european credit card and dialer merchants do the happy dance. so do we lol.

Have a good one everyone
