I've been on the south beach diet for 5 days now and...

I've lost 5 pounds so far

5 pounds in 5 days. Its an Amazing diet. I ran my ass off everyday also.
1 more week and i can eat semi normal food again. It really does kill your cravings though, I dont have any cravings for anything anymore.

yeah this shits great.

I think after the initial beginning you lose about 2 pounds a week. Which will be great, I'll have my 6 pack back by the end of July I hope.

The only thing I miss is fruit. I had no idea how much sugar was in the food I used to eat.

fuck those fad diets, youll never be able to maintain that for the rest of your life - the body needs a balanced diet.

ive lost 35 lbs in 3 months just doing 2,000 calories a day.

and i eat whatever the fuck i want.

exercise helps too. i just walk or ride a bike for 30 min a day.

daily caloric intake varies - a persons height and wether theyre male or female dentotes what the intake is.

south beach is similar but more lean meats, chicken fish, lean beef, low fat cheese, egg whites, certain pork, etc. Its more strict.

this lady did a diary when she was on her SB diet and she writes what she ate, if anyone's interested

i play in a mens league for softball and my team is sponsored by the south beach diet. my buddy's uncle wrote it. he's really poor. he actually lives on fischer island in miami if anyone knows of it.

i hate to break it to you kids, but if you eat decently and go to the gym 3 timesa week and run 3-4 times a week you'll lose tons of weightage, even quicker...
