aww...i had that done a few years ago. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be (and I was kept awake for it) but it wasn't a walk in the park either.

It's the bottom right one. I'm going to the same dentist who pulled the one above it. He used novocaine shots. I only felt the pressure of him moving it around, it wasn't bleeding when I got home and removed the swab, no pain when the shot wore off and the next day the gap had filled in and I was only aware of having had it done if I stuck my tongue there and was eating anything I wanted. I'm hoping for something like that today

well, this is not a hate response or a moronic response.

the "homosexual agenda lobbyists" cannot have it both ways.

some basics:

1. in the real world most parents if asked this question "if you had a choice of whether your child will grow up gay or straight which would you choose?" --- overwhelmingly the answer would be "i would prefer my child would grow up straight, my kid would have less problems, and i might have a better chance having grandchildren, and if he would become a gay male he will have a statistically lower lifespan---which i don't want for my son"

2. the homosexual agenda has asserted for years that homosexuality is not a "choice" thing---it is genetic...i.e. don't blame me for taking it up the ass, i was born with this need"---ok, finally most folks buy this argument---and there is some scientific basis for the argument.

3. where do genetics come from?---think about that for 2 seconds.

and then think about whether you want gay male jism in the gene pool if you are planning on becoming a parent.

it is more than just a disease issue---smart people know it is also a genetics issue, but it is not politically correct to say it.

I don't disagree with you that most parents would not want their children to be homosexuals. I think that's a true and sound statement.

But I think your argument has a lot more merit when it isn't based on senseless stereotypes and generalizations. If a parent doesn't want their kid to grow up to be gay because of the steambath/americanidol/falsetto stuff, it's that parents own fault for being uninformed and ignorant.

Whereas if the parent doesn't want their own child to grow up to be gay based on the potential to have grandchildren, the child suffering through discrimination and alienation, and more sensibly reasonable reasons why a parent could have a problem with it, they can't be blamed at all for that.

yes, my wife's brother died of aids.

yes, i had a real estate brokerage in SF in the 80's and the majority of my best agents were gay, we specialized in the western addition, the haight, noe valley, the castro, duboce park areas.

75% of those young agents are now in the ground due to aids. they were all smart young guys in their 20's and 30's. history, GONE.

i know all the facts about HIV, and i am not a homophobe. these days nobody gives a shit is someone is a rump wrangler, but the sexually active gay male group is statistically a VERY unhealthy group, and there are medically valid and socially valid arguments for the position that gay semen should not be used for artificial insemination.

and the only thing that really irks me is that the "gay agenda" sugarcoats the facts:

everyone can sit around and chuckle watching will and grace, but check this:

fact: incidences of new hiv infections amongst young gay males are on the RISE in the USA after years of decline.

fact: incidences of syphilis and hepatitus are on the RISE in gay males after many years of decline in the USA.

fact: lots of "barebacking" by young gay males---it's the new in vogue activity, still lots of irresponsible gay anonymous sex, and irresponsible webmasters who promote it on websites.

this is stuff no one likes to hear, but it is the truth.

many people are not controlling their personal behavior---and this effects the lives of many other innocent people, and that ain't cool.

You seem to have lived at ground zero of the American end of the epidemic. A lot of us remember friends dying at huge rates. I was young but worked in peer to peer HIV education since I was in my early teens so I too experienced many friends and mentors dying. Infact, I went into a supreme depression in my junior year in high school when I was hearing on an almost monthly basis of another teeneager I knew that had died.

However, don't even try to suggest that gay men are the only people who have unprotected sex. Don't even try to say they are the only ones with STDS. I would rather any kid I ever have be gay than ignorant and bigotted.

No one could justifiably dispute that among homosexual males, HIV is most definitely an issue.

But attempting to paint HIV as a gay man's disease leads to a false sense of security among straight people who assume they're free from risk.

Look at straight porn, afterall. With almost no condoms to be found anywhere and this testing program that seems to disregard HIV's dormancy period in test results?

If people think that rising infection rates, unsafe sexual practices and the likelihood of being infected with HIV are problems unique to homosexuals, they're not doing themselves any favors nor in possession of a very informed view on things.
